what's inside?

Apples

Welcome to last year, OP.
Do try to keep up.

Truly a remarkable feat of cutting edge technology god bless

does the $300 book stop bullets

ooooo

open it

>Assembled in China

I don't know why you guys are hating on the new apple coffee table book. I am a double major in art & theory of people & technology and they're good references honestly. I'm studying product design and I collect art books from designers I love. A lot of those product shots aren't readily available online, so it's tough to draw inspiration from there. $330 to have a copy of all of Apple's designs at my fingertips? Beautiful!!!!!!

>Printed in China

If only I could fuckin' read the text
Is the whole book like that?

7/10 b8, i actually believed it until half way through.

>$300 and doesn't even include an inflatable.

A cuck magazine.

it's so fucking awesome I need it

Is this one of those Mac books I've heard so much about?

Legit Question: Has anyone got a torrent to a decent scan ?

i want to look at the ice cube and few others

I would genuinely not mind getting this book as a gift if it weren't $300 fucking dollars.

I get books full of large high resolution pictures of classic cars as gifts from my parents now and then. It's not like they're cars I've never seen before but they're nice to flip through once in a while, especially if they have some vintage magazine ads that are hard to come by or neat shit like exploded views and early concepts.

I like the way a lot of old macs look and with stuff like the little cube one it's neat to see how they crammed all that hardware inside. Even that trashcan mac pro is kind of neat even if it's stupid.

That's not cool. I'll pass.

>double major in art.
Does than mean two ply for your degrees?

Produced in Malaysia

>That's not cool. I'll pass.
So you'd be happier with a $700 price?
That's what it would cost to get it done in the US.

>i want to look at the ice cube and few others
>ice cube
Apple invented the ice cube!

>I like the way a lot of old macs look and with stuff like the little cube one it's neat to see how they crammed all that hardware inside. Even that trashcan mac pro is kind of neat even if it's stupid.
You can get some insights for that, but generally, the pics are more about æsthetics than construction.
Still, it's a nice coffee table book, but personally, I would not buy it.
Flipped through it when I was in the apple store in San Francisco.
So depressing.
Contrary to Sup Forums-hivemind, apple had a lot of great ideas, great design and great hardware. And its all presented in that book.
But none of that greatness is available in a contemporary apple store.
Only overpriced jokes.
Compared to the current gen macbooks, that book is actually quite good.
It actually does what it is supposed to do.

All iPhones are already made in China. Nothing new here

its so magical

years of engineering and thoughtful artistry meshed a knowledge of natural products with folkstyle weaving

data is stored in persistent images at resolutions only matched by Retina display

and yours for only $2599

use the Magic Vision Crystal to view the images at EVEN HIGH DETAIL - only $899.50

All memes aside a company known for design work releasing a design book this expensive is in no way "weird".

Fashion designers do it all the time, and since Apple is and has always been praised for their design it's not that strange.

Here's a Gucci book for over 200

Bathing Ape for almost 200

Oh, so Apple is actually a fashion company and its justified to push out overpriced crap because of the fallacious reasoning behind all fashion.

Wtf I love Apple now

No, dipshit, they're a company with a long standing tradition of focusing on DESIGN, like a FASHION DESIGNER. People like the way they design their products just like people like the way Tom Ford designs theirs. So Tom Ford puts out a book of their designs to help others to learn and be inspired, and Apple does the same thing.

If you don't like it, nobodys squeezing your testicles and forcing you to buy it. It's selling just fine without you so obviously there's a demand for it.

It's not something you just buy because it's cool, it's something you would buy if you were pursuing a career in design or marketing. And that's who's buying it.

Or to put it in simpler words:
YOU ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE, NUMBNUTS.

>Oh, so Apple is actually a fashion company
Isn't that what Sup Forums is talking about all the time?
They stopped being apple COMPUTERS quite some time ago.
And even when they still made great computers, they always cared about their design.
You are free to agree or disagree with that, but why the fuck does almost everyone here feel like they are personally buttmolested by it?
dont like apples stuff?
Don't fucking buy it.
Easy.

>and its justified to push out overpriced crap because of the fallacious reasoning behind all fashion.
Yes.
Or rather:
It's justified to push out overpriced crap because of the thing we are having here called "capitalism" or "free market".
If you think they are wrong, then go to their ASM and have your voice heard.
Or sell your apple stock, invest in Gentoo incorporated and stop talking about stuff you don't know about.

Oh, and
inb4
>macfag
This was written on a chinkpad, running GNU/fedora/linux/

>Bruh, u don't like it then stfu
Fucking nigger.

The behaviour of the majority affects me. Massive amounts of people investing money and praising a company that sells nothing more than marketing of nice looking things is going to have a negative effect on the market

You dumb nigger.

Literally pictures that are on Wikipedia

Lol as if "the majority" is buying this book.

You are such a hyperbolic, deluded piece of shit.

"OH NOOOOOOOOO APPLE RELEASED AN EXPENSIVE BOOK THAT DOESN'T APPEAL TO ME! THE FREE MARKET IS FUCKING DOOMED AND CAPITLISM HAS FAILED COMPLETELY! I'M MOVING TO FUCKING SLOVENIA!"

If more people like something then that means it's the best.

Where am I implying that?
As Grahan et al. (2001) found out "People = shit". Jobs took this to heart and catered to that fact and made a shit to of money of shit.
That's capitalism 101

u seem upset

>all these buttblasted poorfags from Sup Forumseddit ITT
lmao

Apple threads are a godsend on Sup Forums because all the trash is contained within a single thread and Sup Forums becomes great for 15 minutes to sometimes even an hour.
