Libs always employ the "who cares? do you have something to hide?" argument

Who cares? Do you have something to hide? :)

oh noes

...

you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide

>libs always employ the "who cares? do you have something to hide?" argument
It's the republicans that always use this argument

I have to hide my ssn and other financial info.

this t.b.h

I have nothing to fear from Trump because I'm a straight white conservative male. But I still don't want him having overarching privacy control, because I might have something to fear from whoever is president in 2020/2024.

That's the fucking point most politicians miss. Never take power you wouldn't want an opponent to have. Thanks to Obama, Trump has powers of indefinite detention. That's not okay for any president, whether I like them or not.

Nice try CIA, go shill your anti-freedom somewhere else.

>>libs always employ the "who cares? do you have something to hide?" argument
Uhm, no?

Friendly reminder that the TSP which lead to PRISM was signed by President Bush.

You're right, libs don't have a position on NSA spying because if they did it would be hard to support their party

Same reason they don't care about war anymore

>falsely calling US government shills libs

Nice try faggot

This is one of the key arguments of privacy, any powers you give to a certain group of people can and will be used by people who are against you when they gain power.

And obama extended it even further.

>You're right, libs don't have a position on NSA spying because if they did it would be hard to support their party

>being this retarded
Bush gave the NSA unlimited powers

privacy is a non-partisan issue, you faggot, stop trying to make it one. you should be just as outraged when someone from your "team" gets it wrong.

>And obama extended it even further.
Sauce

What are you even saying?

Go Team Hillary

I'm with her

what's with this us vs them bullshit

why is america so fucking stupid

Kek this pretty much explains it. It's amazing how the Democrats became the pro-war/Mccarthyism party while the Republicans are becoming anti-war/anti-globalism. It really makes you think.

Hiliary is hilariously one of those 'privacy for the rich, surveillance for the poor' people.
She'd ban bleachbit and then use it herself

yeah, nah. everyone who disagrees with you isn't a liberal. you're just a retard.

theyre going to love all the power that Obama amassed for the president now that Trump is in office

i hope Trump uses the NSA expansion by Obama, PRISM, etc. to the fullest and arrests every Marxist terrorist and deports every illegal

>Hiliary is hilariously one of those 'privacy for the rich, surveillance for the poor' people.
This is a good thing. When was the last time a rich person committed an act of terrorism?

>This is a good thing. When was the last time a rich person committed an act of terrorism?
Soros commits terrorism every day and has for decades throughout the world

>when liberals do it, it's bad
>when conservatives do it, it's okay

>when conservatives do it, it's bad
>when liberals do it, it's okay

sums up the viewpoint of the average american voter pretty nicely. they're more like sports fans supporting their team than rational adults who research the issues and vote in their best interest.

I hope that trump abuses the everloving fuck out of those powers.
And you know what? I think he will. On purpose. He'll abuse the fuck out of every single power Obama gave him to show people how cucked they are.

Well in my fantasy world anyway, chances are he'll abuse them because power for power's sake and then people won't realise what an awful mistake unchecked power is (AGAIN AS IF THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WAR AND THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF MANKIND WASN'T ENOUGH) and just sheeple their way to the 2020 election: Popularist boogaloo.

osama bin laden

Once again Sup Forums are morons.

>The punishment for a violation of subsection (a) is a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than 10 years

"If" they're carrying a weapon. Such as an umbrella, or a brick, or something like that.

He was disowned by his rich as fuck family and literally lived in caves in Afghan mountains. How rich do you think he really was?

At least Trump sounds serious about finding and killing Islamic terrorists, so it feels like a loss of personal privacy comes with some tangible gain. What do liberals give you, more data for their social engineering projects?

None of it really matters if the border can't be secured.

Pretty damn rich, you should read about how well stocked Osama's 'cave' was.
Protip: His 'cave' was a military facility stocking fucking armored vehicles.

>butter side up vs butter side down

>remnants from the Afghan-Soviet war
>well stocked

kek

He was Afghan-rich.

not him but #ImWithHer too so your statement is false

gold digger

Samefag, also

Alex Jones, pls

I don't want people to know how much money I spend on pieces of paper.

Nah. I'm already on a watchlist for posting on Sup Forums and the copious amounts of tactical gear I've purchased over the past few years. The worst thing I have on my computer is some obscure, legal, porn and pirated movies. I don't think anyone gives a shit that I have over 100GB of comic scans either.

How are they morons in this case? It's all literally in the bill. Did you not read the entire thing? It's just a page.

Wow this is cyberpunk AF

>What retards who haven't been alive since Clinton was in office believe.

Clinton started Raptor, which still had to go through FISA courts.

Bush said "That's a great idea, but doesn't go far enough". Which brought us shit like Stingray, PRISM, and zero oversight on domestic spying, as well as the new hotness over old world "Military Industrial Complex" and gave us the "Domestic Security Complex". Headed by guys like Michael Chertoff.

Obama doubled down on Bush who tripled down on Clinton, and said we need a massive server in the middle of Utah to hold all this shit on every single citizen who has ever used a computer. But we will still use the rubber stamp FISA courts.

And Trump in his gullible, yet still incompetent managerial ways is just spreading his cheeks further for that big security dick who points to Chinas PLA hacker division, Russian FSB, and says "our enemies are stealing secrets!"

Your security and privacy doesn't mean shit. Not any more.

> t. Cletus and Bubba from Bumfuck Alabama whove never even met a liberal

There was massive outrage in the Democratic party about a lot of positions the Obama administration took, and this was one of the big ones.

The Democratic party has always been full of infighting on this and it's the Republicucks who attack privacy as an undivided collective.

>Republicucks who attack privacy as an undivided collective
Republicans have a clear vision for when and why it's okay to violate privacy in the name of national security while liberals can't even agree that radical Islamic terror is an actual thing.

Democrats, and many of their more centrist voters, have no fucking idea what they are supposed to stand for anymore. They have always been the party in support of getting the government more involved in every aspect of American life so they have no philosophical/historical reason to oppose measures that go against inconveniencing Americans yet their kneejerk reaction is that they should be fighting Republicans on matters of national security, except this is a terrible platform to endorse publicly.

Democrats are pretty much facing a lose/lose proposition by even addressing the privacy issue which is why they'll just shutup and let Trump do what he wants (and piss off some constituents over loss of privacy) or fight Trump (and piss off their other constituents that care about national security).

The same Bush whose family was adamantly against Trump to the point of endorsing Hillary Clinton?
Yeah, it does sounds like him

...

Libs employing the 'nothing to hide' crap and otherwise accepting or promoting surveilance and lack of anonymity and privacy really particularly disgusted me
fucking authoritarian hypocrites.

Terrorist attacks would have a sharp decline if the CIA stopped doing them and controlling terrorist groups. The biggest threat to america is actually our own selves while the CIA tries to plunge us deeper into NWO.

>obama
>liberal

damn conservatives really are this stupid

yeah

>privacy is a party issue
>guns are a party issue
>environment is a party issue

why do they do this
