I accidentally pressed sleep on my desktop build and it was taking forever so I just pulled the plug.

Went to turn it back on and nothing happened...

Tried again and it started for a bit and then I heard a snap sound and electrical smoke coming from the PSU

is it really that easy to fuck a psu?

psu was pic related (enermax 80 platinum 1200W)

...

why did you pull the plug you retard

Really though, who the fuck pulls out the plug to shut off their computer, all you have to do is hold the fucking power button to power down, even if the computer is completely locked up.

You blew it.

I've had the power shut off in my house many times before with no issues so I thought it would be fine

why the fuck did you have a 1200 watt PSU?

insert le house fire meme here

>electrical smoke

CLANG has blessed you with a visitation my son.

he clearly has several hard drives

Why hello, /egg/

hey

there's a fucking on/off switch on the psu for a reason

>I've had the power shut off in my house many times before with no issues
So you live in a place with shitty power? Should've spent some of that money on a UPS instead.

Just answer the fucking question, niggers.

No, it's not easy with quality units. It shouldn't have happened.
Now go send it back under warranty and play dumb about how it happened. You nigger.

>5-year warranty
Damn, guess it's a good thing OP paid too much for the unit.

That's what you get for buying meme components

1200watt psu I bet it can't handle more than a 700 watt load.

You're fucking retarded. It's a great PSU.
