It sure is quiet...
well it is an obsolete shit browser
why would I use this when I have chrome?
Why would you use toilet paper if you have hands?
Not going to mention the reasons all over, go to archive.
Its not as bloated. And its fast at rendering websites.
Plus, it doesn't crash as often.
opera 12 is fast as fuck, that's why. the biggest problem is that heavy sites like facebook give it a lot of difficulty. load up Sup Forums however, opera will load it faster than anything else even now.
I don't notice any slowdown when viewing Facebook.
Well hows the project going ? found many issues in the code
got a .deb for me yet or do i stil have to build the fucker ?
Anyone else have 12.18 and latest installed together?
I'm not a developer. I'm just a user of it. So, yes, you have to build it unless you search for the previous threads to see if someone already made one or not.
Would anyone like some extensions that I wrote (and updated) for Opera (Presto)?
1. Sup Forums Auto-Close Archived/Expired Thread-Auto close expired threads when post count reaches 0 after some time. Requires loadletter's 4chanX for this to work.
2. addons.opera.com
3. addons.opera.com
If interested I'll upload them somewhere.
Can you please fix Linkify so it will work on the links in your post?
The link to it is addons.opera.com
I'd have to take a look at it. But I use greasyfork.org
Do you want the other extensions though?
Oh, also consider adding an exclude list for addons.opera.com
I could probably take a look at it, but show me an example as to how it works?
Though for the most part it's better to look for userscript to do what you want.
It removes the redirect information from URLs on a page (such as a search result page on Google.com).
I meant an actual re-direct link or some such example that I can test it in the extension. But if it's just Google, you can use Google Classic.
pixiv.net
Also, maybe consider fixing some of the issues located on addons.opera.com
I'm interested.
I wouldn't run this security nightmare outside of a VM.
Granted, no browser should be used outside of VMs.

>DisableClickToActivate.patch: disables "Click to activate" on Flash applets
Great idea! Why not also execute all e-mail attachments automatically?
This is a thing?
#closes the rest of his tabs
#unzips
Umm. Night....
#oh baby, oh baby, oh baby
Yes, it is a thing.
Its not bad to disable it as long as you're using an ad blocker of some sort.
how odd. i've tested opera 12.15 through 12.18 over the years and even all of them after the other last week. there is definite slow down and incorrect display when it comes to facebook. are you using windows? if so, what are you using on your opera 12.1x?
I am using Windows 10 on a SSD. I am using the Linkify and URL Cleaner extensions.
Any progress being made on those extensions I mentioned?
Why should I use this over its spiritual successor Vivaldi?
Vivaldi is a bloated turd. No one will bother leaking that shit even in 20 years.
You shouldn't use it because it's illegal, but poking at it is fun.
>Vivaldi
What's the point of Vivaldi? It's closed source, and uses JavaScript for everything.
>spiritual successor to Opera
See if you find any of those names on the Vivaldi page in the Opera 12.15 source you see up in the links in the OP. It's a completely different browser that is not in any way the same as Opera.
Vivaldi is great! It have almost aspect of opera. you should use it.
For security reason you shouldn't use opera especially turbo sync vpn whatever thing.
It sold to chinese company moreover they can view and keep your data it up to six months.
Holy fuck close some of those tabs man
Well?
