Your phone and how long do you use it?

>Your phone and how long do you use it?

Me:
>iPhone 5s / 3y
>Files management
>More convenient file management

>Redmi Note 3 Pro / 2 months
>MIUI, but I'm too lazy to reflash
>faster charging, thing takes all night to get full but boy does she last

>S4 Mini / less than a year
>battery life and camera
>bigger battery, the radio is shit too, but mainly support for android 5.0

>S7
>had it about 5 months
>was great for the first 3 months
>now it's slow as shit and chrome hangs and crashes with only like 5 Sup Forums tabs open

zopo c2/4? years. I don't remember already
only 1gb ram, pop ups when battery is low
A new cpu and 2gb of ram

DELET THIS

HTC M8/2 yrs, I think. Maybe just 1.
When I try to use the home button hold to search, the search closes halfway through typing the first time I try.
More convenient USB file mounting. It prefers to use it's software or Windows doesn't like transferring large amounts of data.

>Droid turbo 2, ~1.5 years
>Can't pin notification bar on bottom of the screen and pull up instead of the opposite
>The ability to do that

>S6 edge, 2 months
>Touchjizz, no updates
>A microsd slot

>Droid Turbo 2, a Month
>Can't root and throw a custom ROM onto it
>The ability to root the damn thing
Great phone overall though.

>OnePlus One, ~2 years
>Camera quality is mediocre
>AMOLED screen, better camera sensor, micro SD slot

>Acer Liquid Zest 4G
>Literally everything
>I'd throw it in lava

>OnePlus one for about one year
>It's old and it kinda feels like it
>SD card and dual SIM. Nothing else

>It's old and it kinda feels like it

Root it and install a custom ROM and kernel, I notice little to no performance issues and probably won't upgrade mine for a year or two

>Samsung B2710, 5 or 6 years so far
>pre-loaded with carrier bloatware that's so shitty it will hang up and reset the phone occasionally
>a jack instead of the custom microusb heaphones would be nice
nowadays it's barely alive with broken chassis held together with office tape. I don't suppose it'll survive another year.

>moto e 2nd gen
>it's fucking slow
>more ram

>Galaxy S4/~2y
>Software. 5.0.1 with TouchWiz bullshit...
>A custom ROM (this shit is still under warranty).

>Redmi Note 4 64gb
>does not support AT&T Lte, 4g, and main 3g band in New York.
>Ad More U.S. Bands and declog their global emui so it doesn't rape your phone with ads forcing you to flash to a Chinese rom that has so many issues with Google play services.

>Had it for about 4 months now.

Already did, running CM 13. It's still a good phone. Just couldn't find anything else wrong with it.

>Moto E 1st gen / almost 3 years
>No stable Nougat ROM
>A stable Nougat ROM

>Oneplus two
>frequent crashes, camera taking cropped and slanted pictures, noisy headphone jack
>add? Nothing excep fix abovementioned things

>Iphone 6sPlus / 14 months
>Bluetooth sometimes fails to turn on first time, and need to wait for it to realise it has failed before reenabling
>Wireless Charging

>Lenovo "Chink shit" S860, had it for almost 3 years now
>top part of the touch screen stopped responding
>more RAM (1Gb currently)

there are aosp roms already, no need to keep using shitty muiu

>Nexus 5 for 3 years
>Shitty battery life
>SD card slot (and better battery)

>Nexus 5 (hammerhead)
>broken NFC, have to fix it
>expandable storage

>S5 2-3years now
>Shitty battery/cracked screen.
>Longer lasting battery

>iPhone 6s plus / 2 months
>everything is done on itunes
>a sophisticated file system

>Huawei Honor 7
>1.5-2 years
>micro usb port is on the bottom but headphone jack is on the top
>ability to restrict access to apps behind the fingerprint scanner

>not using clover
The app is heckin gr8 imo.

>Your phone and how long do you use it?
iPhone 6S since launch
>What is the most annoying thing?
The lack of Google Now built in
>What would you add?
Google Now built in.

>Your phone and how long do you use it?
Nexus 5. Couple of years.

>What is the most annoying thing?
It's pretty flimsy. It slowly gets bent in my pocket over time.

The lack of an SD card slot is also a pain in the ass.

>What would you add?
Metal.

frick yeah moblirinio

>Your phone and how long do you use it?
iPhone SE, got it since release so about one year
>What is the most annoying thing?
Transferring music over iTunes because it's a bugged piece of shit that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
>What would you add?
Does fixing iTunes count? There is nothing I would want added to the phone itself. If I could remove something, I'd make the bezels thinner.

Can't you just replace the back cover?

>LG G5, 4 months got it for $120
>Nearly all stock stuff and modules, just terrible
>Community modules or more 3rd Party app camera support

Moto g 2014, about a year, the most annoying thing it's people can call me. I wouldn't add nothing. To add: make the battery last a week.

>make the battery last a week
Why? How often are you away from any power source for so long?

>iPhone 6s Plus
>had it since Black Friday of last year (went with the 6s plus over the 7 because of those gay headphones and the not being able to do anything while charging faggotry, just too much gay shit so opted for 6s plus)
>The only annoying thing I can think of is the app store. It doesn't have shit like Clover so if I want to browse Sup Forums I'd have to use the Shitfari browser
>The 7's camera I guess? More GB of space? I honestly don't know it does everything I need really. Maybe increase the battery life? I have my brightness turned down and I'm still at like 75% by lunch time.

Days I hate the thing, and sometimes I don't mind .

>Nexus 6P - 6 months
>-Weak vibrations when in Vibrate mode
>IR blaster. Gimmick but useful at times

Iphone SE
Music pirating
More convenient music pirating.
I am not paying 0.99$ per song!

Have been using it for 10 months

>Droid maxx 2/ 4 months
>nothing really
>a slide out physical keyboard

I'm sorry I get out of my basement long enough to have to post from my phone, user-kun

>iphone 4 since mid 2011 (my first and only phone I've ever owned

>can't plug it into PC because then it will update and I'll lose all of my music (new PC so I'd have to download all of it again on shitty country internet)

>nothing really. I can call, text and shitpost just fine.

>OPO, 2 years so far
>overheating and random restarts
>less ovrtheating and random restarts

Meizu 5 Pro
battery doesn't like -30C and it sometimes shutdowns even if charge is more than 50%
AND IT FUCKING LOSES NETWORK CONNECTION ALL DAY ERRY DAY AND LIES THAT IT HAVE IT! FUCK!

>battery doesn't like -30C
Who the fuck does?

>Your phone and how long do you use it?
HTC M8
>What is the most annoying thing?
Nothing, but if camera is better, I'd more like it.
>What would you add?
Wireless charging.

>>Your phone and how long do you use it?
Moto x pure edition, had it for about 7 months and I use it for all day of work usually for about 3 hours ost
>>What is the most annoying thing?
Nothing hardware wise, but thumbnails for pictures don't load all the time because some software shit.
>>What would you add?
Removable battery, battery life isn't a problem but it's just nice to have. Especially with the qt backplate replacements.

Say what

Man , do you idiots even know how to use a phone the Sup Forums way?

redmeme3
9 months
it reboots randomly
I wish it didn't reboot randomly

You are not gonna lose shit for updating , besides the iPhone 4 have a bootrom exploit and can be jailbroken on any iOS version it supports ,

Jailbreak,
mount partition,
copy music to PC
????
Profit

Same as

>Jailbreak

>iphone 6s
FUCKING HEADPHONE CABLE KEEPS JUMPING OUT IF THERE IS A SPEC OF DUST IN THE FUCKING PORT. also bluetooth pairing with my car is a little wonky.
>a decent battery

download fdroid from the playstore. from there download clover

>S6 edge
>nothing
>nothing

seriously, if you're missing a file system management on a phone, then you're using it wrong

>Note 5
>Not waterproof
>Bigger battery

> on a phone
On a pocket PC.

Oneplus X

Snapchat real laggy

Would add NFC or whatever the thing is that lets you use it to buy things

you can fuck right off mate

>iphone 7
>screen is too big
>smaller screen
i liked my 5s better, but i got the 7 from my father and i don't wanna look like an ungrateful fuck by not using it

iOS files management is literally cancer. I spent 25 minutes in order to send epub file from my iphone (you can make it only using iTunes and this shit always showed me new mistake after i have resolved old one)

>Oneplus One //2 years
>(white) case suffers abrasive damage easily
>lower cpu temperatures

this is Sup Forums you are EXPECTED to have a jailbroken iphone to the very least.

It is a crime and i don't want to be associated with it because my professional career can be stumbled

>voiding my warranty and shit just to jailbreak it

No thank you faggot. If I wanted to put some shitty ass android OS on a $800 phone I would've just bought a shitty android faggot.

iphone 6 has a gray flickering thing that is showing me i should stop buying apple stuff. My cellphone is a dead already its just a question of when. I read it is just bad engineering. Apple knows about it and never gave a single fuck.

>buy a cellphone.
>its yours.
>cant mess with its programms.
why tha fuck do you even buy it in the first place?

ITT People who fell for the smartphone meme

why would you literally carry surveillance machines filled with botnets and non-free software in your pockets? dunno about you guys, but i'm too fat and disgusting to use tinder and normie apps anyway

pic related it's my phone. the battery does only last for like a week, i would wish it lasted for two lol

Redmi Note 3 Pro / 5 months
All Nougat roms are buggy as hell
NFC

Any phone is a surveillance machine. But if you're paranoid retard you can change to a new phone and sim card each week (or change imei what it is nearly impossible)

Note 4 running cm13. Didn't even bother to upgrade, because it does all I need anyway. No desire to upgrade either.

Nexus 5x

Plan to use it until it dies.

>>Your phone and how long do you use it?
Nexus 6P since August
>>What is the most annoying thing?
Google Play Music
>>What would you add?
Removable battery

Phone:Oneplus 3t (1 week)
The worst: The fucking shipment time.
The best: Good phone, and his alert slider is kinda good.

iPhone SE
Two weeks.
Syncing with Windows/Linux machines
If Apple released some sort of SDK to develop desktop programs for syncing data the way iTunes does (backup, restore, transfer files, convert them to iPhone compatible formats and reencode videos for the screen size of the detected iPhone) so that we could have full functionality without needing a Mac for 100% of the features or iTunes for 80%, this phone would be perfect. I could even forgive having to do my file management externally.

>this shit is still under warranty
How? The manufacturer warranty is 364 days from date of purchase (365 total, but purchase date is day 1)

If it's some kind of best buy or carrier specific extended warranty, there's a really good chance they won't even care or check if you rooted it.

>OnePlus 3
>Average battery
>Bigger battery (that third question doesn't make sense)

>i9100 (galaxy s2), about 6 years
>the camera is shit and the battry is too small for the sake of making the phone 1mm thinner.
>infra-red, rgb diode, 4g/lte

>Oneplus 3, 8 months
>shit battery. I wish Oneplus included the few things they added in the op3t
>bigger battery

>Z3 c
>18 months
>microSD popping out and flap breaking
>Continuous OS updates

>Moto G 3rd gen. Over a year.
>Supposed to be waterproof. Isn't.

>Syncing with Windows/Linux machines
How much different is syncing on macOS? Does it just werk there?

> Doro 5031. I've had it 3 months or so.
> The limit of ~50 texts is annoying, but not a huge practical bother. I just have to delete them often, which is a good idea, anyway.
> If I could alter it, I'd probably bump the battery to 1500 mAh and increase the storage capacity slightly. Maybe to a few hundred texts.

>OnePlus One / 2y
>non-removable battery
>removable/larger battery

>s3 mini since i got it new
>charger port is fried and bugged, but with trickery i can get it to charge sometimes
>a slider keyboard

>Moto G 1st gen
>The camera sucks
>Better camera, more space

I feel that user. my first phone was a sidekick. slider keyboards were so slick

>Alcatel Onetouch Pixi Glitz (welfare phone) / 7-8 months
>Battery lasts a couple days max from full charge (just a few minutes once down to about 30%)
>Better screen (in both resolution and responsiveness)

I have the same horseshit issue. I'll have it dealt with via warranty one of these days when i can be bothered to setup an appointment to also have the crack on the "chin" replaced

>iPhone 6S for the past 16 months
>not small enough for my girly hands to use it one-handed, and iOS optimization is no longer up to Steve Jobs era standards, and it's crippling that iMessage is not universal.
>quick charging, no more camera bump, no antenna lines, USB-Type-C, linespan of 5yrs like a traditional computer, notification light, dedicated camera button, no more auto-aligned home screen.

>meizu m2note a year and two months
minor GUI glitches and the touch doesn't work very well on the edges of the screen
>more storage because I got the 16G version and basically I'm a fucking retard

LG LGL52VL (tracphone) on
can't root
Root

>Alcatel one touch pop c7, for about 2/3 years
>It claims to be full and I can't update anything, so things keep crashing
>I think it's getting too old and belongs in the trash

Any ideas for a cheap (200-) phone?

On Android 5.1.1
Also it has an onscreen navbar
I've had it for three days
