Is there any extension to block nearly unclosable web pages like "you have a virus, scan now!!!!1" or "your iphone's hard drive is broken!!"?

i mean popups
Noscript, umatrix, etc.
Ublock.
Ublock does not block that. Blocking JS wouldn't affect video players??
It does.
I'll give you an extension user
If you use umatrix and the like, disable it by default on all other sites if you don't want to get cancer. It's hell on earth to navigate the web regularly with that shit on. Sure, it's more "secure" theoretically, but I'd rather have that minor security risk than to make 90% of the sites unusable in part and having to spend 2 minutes each time I visit almost anything to fix them.
unlock and ublock origin absolutely block that.
thanks. what about mobile chrome. is it possible?
It's not a catch-all solution. New scam sites pop up every other second. Only guaranteed way to block them every time is a Javascript whitelist.
noscript
I have all of those enabled and still end up on "you have wirus plz call 1-800-scam-lol" sites. It's impossible to catch them all.
It does if you have the right lists activated.
Just use NoScript, or uMatrix and set it up to block JS by default.
If you are getting popups even with an adblocker installed, then you are already infected with malware.
You and the rest of the posters are retarded, the site just triggered chrome cause it's on one of their malware lists.
Just click advanced and go ahead and make sure you don't load any javascript.
Block their URL in your hosts file. It's usually a 3rd party domain so who cares.
anything for Chrome on Android? tired of having my parents coming to me with those pop-ups
hosts file also work on poodroid, but you need root access
Are you stupid? Just check this box and the site can't create more alerts.
This works without root, only downside is it creates a local VPN connection so you won't be able to use DNS66 and a VPN at the same time.
github.com
For Wi-Fi you can also use Adguard as your DNS.
adguard.com
Fug, is the DNS better than Adguard VPN ? must be harder to unblock stuff
>mfw firefox doesn't have this
I'm using Firefox...
an ad blocker should help with that
i use ublock origin
Use peer block and block the connections the ads /pages you come across?
YuBrowser is Chromium-based adblock
