Probably both material and their articulation. More expensive arms might give you more freedom of movement and/or make it easier to do so. Don't cheap out on this stuff, because you don't want trash that's going to fall off or break.

Well, I like that it has macro customization, but the keyboard is still more convenient to use. I use it for very complicated games, where I just map WASD to the stick at my thumb and can use every other button for other functions.

I also have a 12 button MMO mouse now, so I can get away with playing Star Citizen without having to use modifier keys.

Interesting. One more question senpai. Besides macros do you find movement to be more comfortable with the thumbstick? or would you rather use dedicated WASD keys?

If you've used controllers before, it shouldn't be that much different. I never did, so it's something I needed to get used to. I would prefer using WASD, but only because the stick is way too tiny for my thumb. However since I recently got access to 3D printing, I'll make a custom stick.
