Naked Browser
foremost post greatest post
firefox
or do you not like extensions?
the one with the cloud and lightning logo.
Default browser in Lineage OS and Firefox if I need ad blocking
Why don't you use adaway or dns66 and lightning or naked like a sane person? You're using a crane to lift a pebble.
Probably not gonna use extensions, and that aside Firefox is a bit slow.
I will try Naked and switch to Lighting if I need more features
Just use chrome, Google is already facefucking you because of Android.
Orfox
Naked Browser or Lightning
I prefer NB, has great adblocking through a hosts file-esque method, and is nice and fast.
Naked.
Chromium, updated through that F-Droid app + AdAway
Yubrowser.
Yandex Browser!
Google chrome
Brave is better
All saying Naked, I agree but it is actually Naked PRO that has many more features like gestures.
I hate firefox on the desktop because its' slow as shit with multiple tabs,
But it's the best for Android.
Mainly because Ublock.
This. You get the best browser experience without the botnet
>implying Chromium isn't sending information to google
Well the pro is implied
No.
>paying for apps
Via
Brave Browser.
Lightning is okay but I've noticed that it can't handle Data:// URIs
Yandex Alpha actually supports Chrome plugins
Wasn't hugely stable for me though so I'm back to using TugaBrowser
Firefox, because of extensions. ublock and https everywhere ftw
>Not using F-Droid
kys
tits or gtfo
>Implying it matters at all because you're using Android anyway
either I'm retarded or f-droid doesn't have Naked Browser (or maybe even both)
Chromium Auto Updater f-droid.org
F droid doesn't have the pro version, fag
all these people using raw firefox and not the Christ-blessedly superior GNU IceCat build
i am in despair
No google services installed so at least I try to be less part of the botnet
Safari is really great. Oh wait, you said Android... hmm isn't it Chrome?
I like brave browser
it doesn't, which is strange given the man is a Sup Forumstard
I concur, really makes me think
Nothing to think about, really. 90% of people in here saw Firefox recommended in the defunct sticky and chose to parrot it.
>mfw Chrome was using almost 2 GiB of RAM
Don't fall for the Chrome meme.
Chrome follows the "unused ram is wasted ram" philosophy. The more ram you have, the more it will use.
It removed almost all my apps from RAM.
what makes it so much better? I need a new browser for my phone and was considering plain Firefox.
not actually much, afaik. they just strip out the proprietary shit for muh freedoms and use different branding. also updates much more infrequently. earlier builds had more of the desktop features built in, like librejs (awful) and spyblock (outmoded) but the current one as far as i can tell is just rebadged. source link on f-droid literally points to mozilla's repo
IceCatMobile on F-Droid looks like it has LibreJS but it seems impossible to enable it. It's greyed out in the addons menu.
