What is this, 2005?
I have to mount an image which has two files, a mdf and a mds. Apparently this is the only competent software that can handle these under Windows. WinCDEmu fails to show all its contents. I got a cracked version of Alcohol from TPB..
export it out as a iso
or use the free one
MagicDisc is my choice
They are cancer. Chinese cancer.
It sends you to a website which uses one of those nasty custom installer/downloader.
tits or gtfo
Oh, free edition apparently also installs some thing called "Smart File Advisor". I'll stick with the cracked one.
kill yourself whore
Do not support badware
How is it bad?
alcohol 52 or power iso.
See At least 120% is easy to find a good cracked version.
Imgburn is the best one for Windows.
Change extension from mdf to ISO
WinCDEmu
This, good stuff. Used it all my life until I found out about WinCDEmu
>Imgburn
Yeah, can't mount mds
It failed to mount a mds, it showed just 1/7 of its content. 100-150 MB out of 700+ MB
Then you're stupid and I hate you. WinCDEmu is god-tier and has never failed me.
If its just mounting, I use daemon tools.
WinCDEmu Portable
Fuck off nigger, you're not female
Hahahahaa, lol, wow, what an answer (: Really, it made me laugh (:
>daemon tools
I always saw it as bloatware.
You're not female you tranny.
It's malware not bloatware. Unless you happen to be using the original from like 10 years ago
Idk, the program is like 30-40 MB. Alcohol is only 8 MB
Are you a white woman?
>Alcohol 120%
those memories
Well, the program's been updated, so you can revive those memories, lol
kys tranny
Use Alcohol Portable if only for mounting, really lightweight and doesn't have any ads or malware.
This. And CDBurnerXP for making *.mds images.
Then you are set for this shit.
I like portable software. Though mounting requires a driver (all such programs do, even WinCDEmu), so I doubt its portability. Also officially there's no portable version.
WinCDEmu is nice if you're a fucking plebian like most of Sup Forums are but just like all open sores software they're shit at handling fringe cases. Try mounting UDF images (you haven't encountered one because you're a pleb) and watch WinCDEmu fail.
I personally prefer an old version of Daemon Tools
Alright then boys, what's the best image burning/managing software for Windows?
>2017
>even considering optical media
might as well use floppies
ctrl + f 0 rename 0 of 0
what the fuck scrubs, are you all tech illiterates?
where was Sup Forums gone to?
just fucking rename mdf to iso
>friend asks me for windows 7
>Oh, sure, here's the CD ^.^ You can keep it
bloat or not, for me its always worked, and it looks like the lite version has an image exporter so if its not just mounting you can export and use your choice of burner.
on that front, I use nero as its what I know.
that said, I only have one virtual drive and its a set and forget kind of deal, only used when its my only option.
>using optical media in the current year
>ripping it with software instead of raw
>using software pirated by literally who to get your computer 20% more malwared
>using Windows
Literally like what the fuck is wrong with your life. Dumb cuck.
Don't use such misogynistic language.
Well, I actually don't intend to use optical media, all I wanted was to mount a downloaded mds image.
I nostalgia'd.
Not OP but I used to have WinCDEmu until I found out it doesn't support CD audio. You know what does? Alcohol 120.
Try ctrl+f wincdemu and read how many real issues there are just from this thread alone
alcohol-soft.com
And yes it installs a tiny service that can be removed on program's closure
It even supports mixed mode isos, (redbook audio and such)
Oh, that's interesting. Well, I'll keep the full Alcohol 120 for now.
Hey femanon!
Can I get your number?
See It just works, but no one would believe it
If the file is indeed mdf, it won't work. Test it with 7zip, it can extract iso files but can't extract mdf.
Mount .mdf using Daemon Tools. Rip to ISO using ImgBurn.
You're welcome.
How do I do that?
With the .mdf mounted you are emulating an optical drive.
You then create an image from disc using ImgBurn.
