Intelligence overflow

you still haven't realized that Sup Forums is the same as Sup Forums but slightly more technology related ?

you still don't know that Sup Forums is coming from hell OP?

it's the only way they can trick themselves into believing they can computer well

>linus uses gnome and keeps telling us how fucking shit is since forever
>terry uses gnu software, while shit-talking GNU and GPL
>rms is kinda forced to use linux, because HURD is still in alpha after almost 30 years lmao

>people who get shit done use what they hate
>people who use what they like, how they like never get anything done, besides logos

>Bill Gates uses Windows
>Steve Jobs used MacOS
>Larry Page hasn't never created a desktop OS
>meanwhile Sup Forums autists need ultra resolution papes of anime waifus and gnu/Linux to feel better than normies
complain amongst yourselves

Bump

Ubuntu MATE
Vim
C
Scala

You missed the part where: Sup Forums is primarily underage and there more receptive to change for the sake of change than the old farts you named, so everyone is more impressionable and tries to get what is "best" for them in the here and now.

>>>Richard Stallman hasn't never installed linux
I thought he used Trisquel for a while

>Sup Forums
>productive
you should NEVER take advice from Sup Forums when it comes to computers. Sup Forums still recommends some autistic distro that replaces your conf files every time it's updated and it recommends some shitty chinkbook that no one in the industry uses.

Just do opposite from whatever Sup Forums says.

Using =/= installing

Haha dewd xD you're so kewl bro i lurv ur post... My nigga, my hitta HEY Sup Forumsuys "check this kid out!"

>reddit
Kill yourself my man.

I don't need to explain.

Sup Forums cool kids club checklist

[x] hate OOP
[x] hate IDEs
[x] never produce actually useful software (this is important)
[x] wear knee socks
[x] tiling window manager
[x] dark-like-my-soul customized colors

first two implies third, and vice versa

Enterprise Java developer from India detected

even worst shitskin programmer is a man of better quality than majority of gee

>dual monitors to feel productive
I have 3 monitors at work and would definitely benefit from having at least 1 additional monitor.

You're using Microsoft Windows.

If you think you can't make useful software if you don't use OOP then you're clearly just a front-end programmer who barely has any contact with real hardware. Most embedded stuff is written in C without OOP, different languages for different tasks.

>tfw none applies

How can anyone use Gnome3?

>a fucking app drawer...

that sounds like one of those underground distros, Sup Forums would love to use

t. KDE shit eater

Nope. Aqua bitch.

Gnome3 is the android of DE's

Terrible.

>linus uses x

>famous person uses x

Who fucking cares. Are you a child that just follows others?

>Hates gnome 3
>Loves the De that copied gnome 3
Hmmmmmmm

It's because people who get shit done, unsurprisingly, care more about getting shit done than about the color of their window dressings

Terry uses Unity? He might not actually be as much of an edgy fuckwit as I thought. Unity is the greatest thing to happen to Linux since the kernel.

shit bait.

I dont have time for that shit to load when vim/tmux takes no time at all and i dev mostly in python
I used to have dark colors cos i thought i would see the words better (slightly colorblind) but light color schemes are actually a lot kinder for me

I use multiple operating systems at work. I interact with Windows far less than other operating systems. Besides, Linux and OSX have far superior multiple monitor support.

>Linus

JUST

you have problems

ew

But humans are social animals.

If software is proprietary it's useless.

Arch is fairly popular and it's the best thing that has happened to GNU/Linux, Ubuntu is good for normies, but as an expert, I use Parabola.
