How do you name your files?

How do you name your files?

I don't believe in files.
Everything should be a cloud based REST API service.

I use spaces just like a regular computer user

Underscores

Dashes - with - spaces - if - I'm - feeling - fancy

didn't know it was called that, but CamelCase

All files are underscore.

Variables are underscores, functions are camel case.

No exceptions, any deviation is haram.

I use spaces.

...

bitch what

I name everything in accordance with the 8.3 format.

Redpill me on camel case. Why is it likeThisExample and not LikeThisExample?

Doyoumeanlikethis or DoYouMeanLikeThisOption?

I fucked up because of autocorrect, see my new post

Why is phoneposting still allowed?

like that

camelCase or PascalCase

Both, actually. Fight me.

Just ignore the luddites.

Their hashes, this way I can fight data corruption manually. For images I use their image hashes (so I can know there are no duplicated images) + their hashes (to fight data corruption manually); I have chosen this pattern because it allows me to sort them by name and notice duplicates at a glance: ImageHash Hash.

That's a good idea user, I usually just camelCase everything.

>UpperCamelCase for classes, methods, functions and file names.
>lowerCamelCase for variables, values and parameters.
Anything else is dog shit.

lowerCamelCase
UpperCamelCase

You could sort by file size and notice duplicates at a glance if your file manager supported thumbnails.

No, you're a hopeless retard, a basket case. You could have the same image in different dimensions, with different compressions levels, different filters, cropped, et cetera. The results could differ greatly in size, but they would still be the same image; I'm only interested in the best one available, so I use image hashes to determine which images have the same content.

kebab-casing-beyatch

symbolic integration motherfuccckkkkk

"Both" does not apply to three or more though

>bAsKeTcAsE

hebrew for file names
russian for classes

arabic for comments

Nani?

Hooked the camelCase at the first year of uni, now I always name stuff liekThis

Exactly how I'd write them if they were in a sentence, apostrophes, spaces, and all.
