Why don't you use classic Macs?

Why don't you use classic Macs?

:^)

>tfw no 2012 15" MBP with anti glare display

Last good laptop Apple made.

Because they're fucking outdated?

>classic
>not even 10 years old
You must be 18 years or older to use Sup Forums.

...

Some guy gave me an original MacBook Air.

It sucks ass, but at least it's pretty.

But I do, user

Mavericks has every artisanal UI element tooled to Steve Jobs' specifications

does mavericks count

>Macintosh Plus
TUUU-TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, TUTUTUTUTUU TUTUUUUUU

exs dee

but user that's what im using
>tfw haven't taken out disk drive for second ssd
>tfw got this for free from an advertising company who upgraded to mbp 2016

HOW

Because I use a brand new one. I had the money for it.

i got connections senpai.

also as a general laptop question, what laptop has the most customization options in current year.

Because I haven't bought an Apple IIe yet

Macs are so shit you have to buy a new one every other year.

No you don't

Sent from my 2007 24" IPS iMac

I would like to have one but the display being not retina is a huge problem for me. All these autists who say otherwise are just lieng to themselves.

When I owned both I couldn't stand the nonRetina. Now that I just have a ThinkPad and MacBook Pro 2009, the MacBook looks like heaven.

The resolution in retina is a meme. The real "no going back" element is the screen lamination, which you forget about as long as it's not right next to a non laminated display

Best OS

I can't fucking believe that all they could do with new macbook is fuck it up and make it thinner lol.

>Core 2 Duo

Because I prefer computers myself!

>classic
is this what getting old feels like?

t. the entire tech industry

those aren't classic macs

yes

but i am :^)

These aren't 'classic' Macs, they're just a few years old.

This is a classic Mac.

i'm poor

>intel
>classic mac
gtfo my thread

i'd barely call core2duo stuff "old" letalone "classic"

i'd personally only go as far as pre-iMac

thanks for giving me a serial number

:^)

its all yours buddy :)

because a dankpad would the same and come with a modern cpu instead of a core 2 duo.
The only upside is that the more modern stuff get excellent screens but they don't seem very durable.

No operating system will ever look as good as Mavericks. It's all just ms paint minimalism from here on out. Why live?

But I do. Bought it few years ago for 400 eurobuck s and upgraded RAM and SSD.
Still going strong and battery at 90% health.
Best machine I own.

>2012
that's practically new

68k is classic

Well I hope it stays the way it is now because I'm sure as hell ain't got no money for that thin shit with emojibar.

How classic?

I just got a 2015 13" rMBP and it's pretty nice. I'm liking it.

I have a 2015 15" rMBP, it's great

I too just got an overheating housefire. It keeps my room really warm.

Mine doesn't overheat, the only housefire I own is a GTX 1070 that burnt out after a few months

>macshit
>not overheat

>1070
>even getting warm

You're not even trying Rajeesh.

>hiding serial number

for what purpose

Serial numbers can be used on Hackintoshes to enable iMessage.

That's my main computer.

I fear upgrading as new MBPs are so shit and expensive.

>iMessage

wew its fucking nothing

They have better thermals, graphics and speakers. The only problem is the lack of ports.

Also, the lack of control. I've been able to upgrade RAM and SSDs as they've come down in price. You need to drop a ton of money on a new MBP to get it to full specs and Apple are fuckers for SSD and RAM pricing.
