would be great for the prosumer market if nvidia released a new titan black. we're still stuck with kepler titan blacks.
Oh boy they finally got enough samples that didn't crack the HBM pads off the interposer to officially put the card on the market? They only announced it like it was a launch a full fuckin year ago.
It's just GP102 with HBM2 and FP64
Doubt it, Titan M and P were both lacking FP64, at this point the brand is 50/50 on FP64 capabilities.
Go fuck yourself, AYYMDPOORFAG
Nvidia has been shipping Tesla P100 since last year
Oh my fuck I just noticed it isn't even the fully unlocked GP100, are yields on the chip that fucking bad?
Yeah, a dozen golden engineering samples back in December to a few select places for development work.
that FUD wasn't true when you started shitposting it and isn't true now. GP100 has been shipping as part of dgx1 since june (q2 '16), with the pcie variants arriving on time in q1 '17 as they were announced.
>Oh my fuck I just noticed it isn't even the fully unlocked GP100, are yields on the chip that fucking bad?
no, there's just a serious shortage of hbm2. nvidia has thousands of chips but no hbm2 to pair them with except for what they've shipped on the socketed p100s that come with dgx1.
Which is why it took until almost the end of Q3 for them to show off a working GP100?
Oh no but it totally was working in time for a Q2 ship
>that didn't crack the HBM pads off the interpose
One Nvidia engineer at hot chips conference said they were eyeballing cracks because they can't test them with machines lel
