>not 3D printing your own keyboard
are you tech-illiterate plebs even trying???
Not 3D printing your own keyboard
Other urls found in this thread:
it even uses MX blue switches...
The autism never ever fails to outdo itself. Fuck me.
embarrassing
>embarrassing
it's fucking god-tier you dumb pleb.
look at how fucking ergonomic this thing is. once you place your hands over it, the amount of movement to do anything is minimal.
anyway, this is all 3D printed so the finish looks like shit (like most 3D filament printing does). but make it out of some injection molded plastic and it will look better than any keyboard on the market.
fag lol
OP is full of shit
>OP is full of shit
why?
Lmao wtf is this shit
3rd printing is for mocking up, not actually being a final product.
jesus christ that looks fucking bad
that is a mockup you dumb fuck. a mockup that you can actually use. and who cares how it looks if it doesn't impede its function
>poorfags gonna be low-class scum
that keyboard is more expensive than your keyboard. i guarantee it. the amount of labor and printing time put into is in 1000s of dollars.
Why don't people ever sand/smooth their 3d printed shit, they aren't mocking up for final production so why don't they make the thing look nice.
>falling for the time is money meme
it's impossible to do it with consumer-grade 3D fillament printed parts. you have to use acetone fumes but that shit smears things a lot.
it's not a meme. it's the unbeatable law of economics.
POLISH THOSE SIDES YOU SICK FUCK
>not 3d printing your 3d printer
Do you even meme newfag?
It was printed on Reprap Prusa. Checkmate, troll!
>creating your own keyboard
Don't you have to go through the painstaking process of writing drivers for this shit?
A mockup is non functioning. Your shit is wired in.
What you have is a prototype. And if you are going that far into it, it should at least not look like a shitty mockup.
that's a prototype. and I never said it's mine. are you stupid or english is not your first lang?
That thing op posted is most certainly a prototype. A usable prototype to assess the concept for viability.
I don't know what you're on about but I strongly suggest pulling your head out of your ass.
it comes out as strings. imagine cumming on your clothes and when it hardens you sand it down. just makes shit worse.
It's a prototype, duumbfuck. Never post again.
>Not even once
I posted again. Look at me.
samefag detected
I'm patiently waiting to be able to home 3D print ICs and processors.
Then the computer revolution will finally begin.
no thx dude lol!
umm.... no sweetie
its something called teensy
is retard your middle name? kek
Use acetone vapor you 3D printing pleb.
that looks like shit. Sandblast, tumble, or solvent polish that shit.
At the very least clean up the 'hair'
oh you motherfucker, you didn't even export the STL in high resolution. No wonder it looks like shit. Next time up the triangle count so the round stuff doesn't have steps on it.
no it is very much possible to tumble polish 3d printed parts if they aren't too
POST-PROCESSING MOTHERFUCKERS
how horrifying
The fuck am I doing?
>look at thumbnail
>"Hey, thats pretty good!"
>open pic
>3D-printed keycaps
Jesus christ, nigger, thats some next-level faggotry right there.
That is the least aesthetically pleasing sight I've ever witnessed on Sup Forums.
>>>/fuckOff/
>once you place your hands over it, the amount of movement to do anything is minimal
Except you know, use any kind of special keys...
You're a faggot and should kill yourself to do the world a favor. Your wiring harness is shit, MX Blues are shit (Brown or die) and it's hardly ergonomic.
>bought a reprap
>doesnt know how to tune it
>thinking that this looks good
And the worst part?
I know thats like 15-20$ worth of plastic. It could have looked 10 times better if you would actually tune your printer and use decent print settings
Shame on you OP, did you just slap it together and use out of the box settings from the chink you bought the kit from?
Just sand it down a bit
Polygon count has nothing to do with his slicing settings
Post processing cant fix 300 micron resolution settings, itll always look bad.
You vapor bathe it like your pic related, it will no longer hold tolerances to fit together. Its only for little trinkets and statues.
This is you soundcard, OP
Im going to use my MP-CNC to mill out an ErgoDox
>Sand down the thing
>Paint the letters properly
>Apply a layer of glossy finish
It's obviously meant just for testing, since the guy didn't even bother to refine it.
Include me in the screecap
I 3D-printed this very fast numpad
>MX Blues are shit (Brown or die)
end your existence
what the fuck
Soviet SoundBlaster?
So close yet so far, I mean, you are probably shitpostinf for reactions. But buy some decent keycaps and/or polish everything you print with acetone (prior warning - ruins prints with shitty filament) and that thing would be god tier, as it is it looks like the most practical pile of shit I've ever seen. Tbh, I'm inspired to make a better finished version for myself.
Exactly
What the actual fuck is this thing
he wo't be able to find keycaps for that thing without ruining the idea. They don't look standard size or profile.
Reminds me of the nostromo
lefties not allowed
at least you used actual keycaps compared to op
