5g, like 4g is shit due to latency, intermittent signal issues, and low data caps. Even if you do get an 'unlimited' plan you get throttled hard after some low number of bandwidth is used.

I'm fortunate enough to live in a place where Cablevision Optimum and Verizon FiOS compete. Max speeds are 350 down / 500 symmetric respectively.

Ignore the pricing, because a) those are business rates (which I use at home for static/multiple IPs), and b) they're incredibly negotiable because you can play them off each other.

(FiOS is fibre for those not familiar.. Optimum is spread spectrum RF over coax.. or, you know, "cable".)

My building isn't though because by the time the provider that did the drilling was basically put on ice because it was criminal (the drilling itself and the means by which the cables were acquired), nobody in my building expressed interest in that.
