Any prepaid phone from Walmart.

/nofone/

I am not from shartinthemartstani

Kill yourself then, shit stain.

no

an iphone

Do you not care about texting and does a GSM phone work? If you answered yes to both of those you can get a kawaii credit card size cell phone that is objectively more kawaii than any smartphone.

what is the autonomy of this thing?

>the autonomy

how long does the battery last before needing recharge?

Moto F3. The dumbest under the sun and made for rajesh, so cheap af since day zero.

...

I have a very slim nokia phone around but it's locked with a security code and there is no way to unlock it without nokia support. Might as well buy a new one instead.

Dumbphone threads are my favorite because the real reason is they're hipsters and want to be different so we keep running back and forth between

>Oh I need that feature I can't live without it
and
>naw I'm not buying no modern normie smartphone

they have like 3 hours of talk time max. Its an 800 mAh battery and they have a calculator, calendar, and some other useful apps built in so it would last like a day from all the notifications it pushes.

Old Sony Ericsson phones used to be awesome.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, flip-phones still being pretty used in Japan.

See pic related.

I've been using an LG Cosmos 2 for about 7 years now, so I would recommend it. Great for texting.

I want a dumbphone with whatsapp.
But whatsapp decided to stop supporting Blackberry and Nokia.

Everyone uses whatsapp.

Get a smartphone just like a normal human

Are you in the US? The last 2G GSM and 1X CDMA networks will be shut down in the next few years.

>I want a dumbphone with internet access and apps
see

whats it like being a dangerous criminal?

Is there an chin phone without 911 botnet?

>Old Sony Ericsson phones used to be awesome
My nigga!

Why does it matter? Phone location data can be handled by looking at the metadata for your phone's connection to various cell towers. Cell service providers keep that data for at least a year or two (see pic related, it's what they were doing 7 years ago) and even sell that data to advertisers.

And one of the companies that buys the data:

Nokia 1616 user here, it's an okay phone but I hate the buttons. 1xx series seems like a better choice.

Do people even use phones for phone calling that much?

Even if I like old tech, it just seems useless.

I just called like 5 times today. did i ignore all but one of the calls? yes, but voice calling is still very much alive and relevant

pretend you have like a job or friends or do something with your life and there's a lot of reasons to call

You EVER call the 3310 dumb again and I'll fucking beat you with one.

Nokia 6310i, the phone for the man to be feared and respected.

Just make sure it is a clamshell style.

i have 3 of them as backups when my samsung s2 dies

>pretend you have like a job or friends or do something with your life and there's a lot of reasons to call
Yea, now pretend you have more than one and they happen to primarily communicate directions for their events etc. over social networks, like so many do. Or email.

A dumbphone is no longer adequate if you want to cover all the usual methods of communication.

Nokia 215
The battery lasts a monthâ„¢

But seriously, I bought one for my mum and she's happy with it. She barely even charges it

>dual sim, fb messenger, long-ass battery life
this would make a perfect overseas work for someone i know, he often spends days at a time away from power sources
if this could do skype voice calls and wechat it'd suit most of what he uses his current phone for

-- not to mention the environments aren't great for a smartphone, and his phone gets stolen relatively often (not only is that thing cheap as fuck, it doesn't look fancy either, so less likely to get nabbed in the first place)

>I want go buy a dumbphone, cause smartphones are ruining my life.
Here is a wild suggestion: Get some fucking self-discipline you raging faggot. No one is forcing you to look at porn in the bus, no one is forcing you to play candy crush at work.

you just gave me feels OP. Owned and loved that thing, although the headphone connector went to shit pretty fast and I had to replace it. But tahat closing sound... that mushy keyboard with rubber buttons... Shit was cash

If you're in Japan, get some sort of keitai, those kinds of phones are great middle-grounds between dumbphones and smartphones.

>inb4 that one copypasta just because I said keitai[/spoiler]
