I'm returning my macbook pro because even the keyboard and trackpad on my chromebook is better. It's sitting in the box while I type away on my chromebook instead. I thought about returning it for an iMac. But then I realized that I could build a million times better PC for almost half the price.

the CPUs from that era run hot as hell and the thermals are generally shit so they make a racket any time they run more than 30% CPU load
if you can get around that problem, they are pretty good. Swap the CD bay with a SSD, max the ram out and it will be a good machine.

I highly doubt they're allowed to pick their own computer/phone/etc for security reasons. Obama wasn't allowed to pick his own smartphone, and Trump's advisers are trying to get him to stop using his regular consumer phone.
