REEEEEEEEEEEE

When does this FUCKING card come out?

After they made enough sales of the Titan XP.

I can't even buy the titan XP from their fucking website so how do they expect me to buy it?

there is your answer :^)

it's not lmao

When AMD puts out Vega, they'll put it out the same or next day to try and stomp out excitement over Vega, unless Vega stomps Titan XP to the curb in which case it will be released to try and cut AMD's pricing for Vega down.

As soon as jehnsun Huang is done sucking AUDI's dick or maybe he needs a nice but raping from the king himself Raja

Vega will be lucky enough to curb stomp Pascal. If their flagship is only 5% faster in best case scenario then it's all doom and gloom from there.

when amd has something competitive in their lineup...

>unless Vega stomps Titan XP to the curb

Sometimes I wonder if AMD shills should be locked up in the mental ward after reading delusions like this

Why do you care? You won't be able to afford it anyway.

Its taken me 10 minutes to recover from that hilarity. Are they really that deluded

Do you really need one? A 1080 can already do 1440p 144hz well enough.

yeah its going to be a nightmare, I will have to sell one of my 1080s.

>One of my 1080s

If you have more than one 1080, what do you even want a Ti for?

SLI is really bad for games, so I would assume you're doing rendering with them as that would be the only reason to buy, in which case the dual cards will blow the fuck out of the single Ti

In esports, sure. Not in demanding games like GTAV, Witcher, etc. Still need moar power. The industry is slowly moving to 4k just like it did to 1080p. There's still plenty of need for gpu power.

I dont want a ti. Actually sli isnt bad in quite few games, I guess im quite lucky as the majority of ones I like and play do have it supported.
Im not going to pretend I use them for rendering etc. I literally play games thats it.

Let me send you some 3DS Max scenes to render on your 1080s or I'll tell everyone you're a gamer fag with SLI 1080s.

Im too old to give any fucks what people think! I like my sli.

Would love dual Titan XP just to run folding@home better

And then they'll release a true Titan XP 3840/24GB for 2000 €.

Rendering, yes, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

What are your experiences, would you recommend me a 1070 FTW SLI?

If you have the money id say yes do it.
sli is fine and in tons of games, people just come out with the meme bollocks as they cant afford it!

I can put the money together or invest in a 4K TV first. Thought about a 1080 but the 250 € extra weren't worth it. The 1070 almost maxes BF1 in 4K.

I'm still unsure about microshuttering and incompability. I had a 755M SLI some years ago, it was horrible. NOTHING worked, crashed and felt like 10 fps even with 100.

Once AMD puts out Vega, then the 1080 Ti will come out and stomp whatever AMD has as their top-end card.

>I literally play games thats it

The shitty thing about Sup Forums is that it's a tech board with 98% Windows 7/10 users that build gaymer PCs and don't contribute to anything software related, 1.5% Arch linux / pajeet + java / CS101, and .5% guys who jack off to the calculus of constructions / HoTT / the coolest thing you can do with Coq.

So mostly people who shouldn't even fucking be here, who have no idea how any of their software works, to some assholes who think they're cool because they can write pacman in javascript & html5, to autists who understand deep theory but barely ever post.

>technology
technology includes all tools, machines, utensils, weapons, instruments, housing, clothing, communicating and transporting devices and the skills by which we produce and use them.
As far as I know "gamer" pcs and the hardware fits into that category

Well according to Adored Vega won't be even able to stomp current Titan X which means we probably won't see a 1080 Ti. Lack of AMD's competition really took its toll over two years. Me having to pay $100 extra to get 1070 when compared to 970. Intel taxing $50 extra for unlocked CPUs while providing no real gains. It just sucks. And the worst part is, while I see all of this shit I'm simply not rich enough to support AMD by buying their inferior hardware just for argument's sake.

I'll take that as a tacit admission that you dicked around on codecademy a couple times, but can't remember the syntax for fucking anything without looking it up. At most. Get fucked, brainlet, and look at the goddamn sticky that's been at the top of the board since the beginning of time.

>>>vg
is where gaymer hardware shit should go.

>cant even link a board

REEEEE

4d chess, nigga. You read the whole thing, didn't you?

>muh ad hominem

>>>trash

Its amazing how easily you autistic cunts get triggered. Also its hilarious as all people you feel should be here having fucking potatos. It must be terrible seeing us have nice setups and enjoying ourselves on them whilst you wank over kiddy porn on an old 1600x1900 screen

right before amd launches theirs

>4000 €

That's called the Quadro P6000 you moron

I'm not even sure if I should upgrade my 970, it can still handle most games at 1080p/60fps.

1080 Ti release

march 10-12 , PAX East presentation

799$

I don't think you should. Currently on the same boat since 2015 October, I got a good deal out of it and am waiting for the 30 burger shekels. If only AMD had similar performing drivers on Linux. I'd easily buy a RX480.

Nah, I bet on $900.

New thread:

Deprecated.

I'd love for Vega to trounce it, but I feel it's very unlikely with how it performed against a 1080. It's a fat chip and it has expensive HBM2, there is no way it's going to be cheap. Sure, Nvidia is ramping up prices to the moon, but I don't think AMD can play the price game this time around. I think it's going to be at least $600 and I'm being generous. Zen had massive gains compared to the leaked engineering sample, so all might not be lost.

Nvidia just keeps winning

those Aymdkids can't handle the pressure
its mid 2017 soon those street shitters didn't manage to release anything

kek

>its mid 2017 soon
>not even 1/6 in the year
See this shit? Stop the side mentality and the identity politics.

>See this shit? Stop the side mentality and the identity politics

fuck you

AyMD won't have shit until mid 2017. And when their products come out everyone else is on their next gen trip already. Can't make this shit up.

>When does this FUCKING card come out?
May or June, same as Vega, for obvious reasons.

A better question is why you'd want one exactly.
The TXP is not a lot better than an overclocked 1080, and the 1080 Ti is just going to be a GP102 with even more shaders cut.
The price at which the 1080 Ti would be a good deal would have to force down the prices of the 1080/1070 to sane levels, at which point they'd be the better choices anyway.

No card this generation will be a UHD@60+fps (or 1440p@120+fps) with full eye candy device, so spending $800+ on one is kind of nuts.

When Vega releases, or just a month before.

Timing is everything. If you have no competition, then dont expect this to be released anytime soon.

Why would you give nvidia that much money after how they acted for ces2017?

They know everyone was there for the 1080ti, then they talk about botnet and cars for an hour or so,
THEN they hand the stream over to some faggot they pay to play games and have him laugh at everyone for wanting the 1080ti.
He actually opened up the chat so everyone could post and said that he loves seeing their anger and that he feeds off of it.

Shilling for Nvidia... Why dont Nvidiots realize how bad this is for them.

march 10 @pax

sorce: trust me

>sorce: trust me
>sorce
>literally just googled the question
>no evidence to back it up

>Buying a card thats more expensive than the 1080, whilst only having GDDR5 and not GDDR5X or HB2

Cmon son.

I wont touch 4k until scaling isnt an issue

I had a i5 2500k with a 550 ti, upgraded to a 970 some years ago. They are ending the end of their lives. I'm waiting for Ryzen, but I'll keep the 970 somewhat longer.

~april~
AM4 mono
2x8GB DDR4 RAM
8 core Ryzen
m.2 drive

~october~
4k monitors
New GPU (who knows what will be out)

What did he mean by this?
No but seriously, what is gpu scaling?

Pretty much what I'm doing too. I might have to get a midrange vid card in the meantime tho.
