Impossible to get laptop for £500 with these?
im also looking for something like this
Most of the laptops with these specs are 150-200+ more than £500, don't really want to spend anything above 500-510.
T520/T530/W520/W530
Problem solved. You can even get a screen of good quality (not just resolution) if you swap one from a different brand.
All the laptops I've listed can hold a total of 3 hard drives, so you can go crazy with different combinations of size and speed.
Its literally the first item for "laptop" search on newegg
m.newegg.com
And its not that bad, my sister got this one with the ssd and the i7 recently for school, for being a budget laptop the build quality seems decent and it feels sturdy enough, not too much screen wobble when typing, things dont flex much
It doesnt get too hot either, but the vents are unfiltered, so dust may be a problem
I'm in the market for an x260. Should I wait for x270?
If youre gonna buy new design thinkpads you might as well go for the newest
Lenovo Ideapad 510
Even has a Nvidia GPU.
you're gonna be hard pressed getting anything cheap with a FHD screen.
there's really no good bang for the buck laptop out there.
spend 125 bucks and get a used pro book/lattitude/thinkpad with an older i5 and live with the 768p screen.
beware most used ebay laptops will be missing HDD, HDD caddy, Battery, and Charger. if you find one that has all that shit jump on it.
about to bid on a i5 3230m probook, i already missed the last one that sold for 115 with a slower i5. gonna try and hold out for 125 on this one.
i don't really need a laptop so i refuse to spend big bucks for one.
B grade pro books go for 145 on newegg. i'm tempted to get the C grade lenovo on there with a 128 gb SSD but it sounds too good to be true, screen is probably fucked somehow. keyboards are easy to replace but i don't really care to fix screens.
if you want to really go cheap, get a 50-60 dollar thinkpad on ebay and buy a cheap battery and charger for it. a 1TB HGST laptop drive is like $60 on newegg.
just got the probook for 122 shipped, fuck yeah!!!
Lenovo ideapad 510: £649.99
>AMD CPU
Yeah no. Until Ryzen comes out, all you'll get is power hungry space heaters from five years ago.
Refurbished maybe
You cant literally replace the ram and harddrive yourself. Stop being a faggot the market is saturated with i5 1080p laptops.
>Being this braindead
Just for that, I'm not even going to link it.
>not getting 95% of the same shit for 1/3 the price
>Display: 1920 x 1080, non-glare
doesn't even mention whether it's full hd or regular hd which is important.
>computeruniverse
seems like a shady site anyways
>1920x1080
>doesn't even mention whether it's full hd or regular hd which is important
FHD = 1920x1080
HD = 1280x720
you would think better of someone on Sup Forums but most people here really are that retarded.
1600x900 is fine even on 17.3 inch displays.
too bad every 17.3 inch laptop sells for a price premium, good luck finding one under $300 even with a shitty i3 or A6/A8.

So far got these two, the Acer seems badly made with good specs from reviews and the HP is a german model only from what i can see.
