I use 8.1 with the original start menu, I don't get why people were so upset about the new full screen start menu, when in practice I only use it about once a week and while starting up go straight to the desktop anyway.
For keyboard combo's it's still functionally the same.

everything you write sends your handwriting to microsoft
every file you open sends data to them
there is one video where the person 'decrypts' the packets to see what was sent but that has to be fake.
then you have microsoft disguising its servers as common program names you may have, like on a fresh install sending data out to game devs or av makers... these are microsoft servers named to hide who is getting sent shit.
