Uni/college thread

>Where & what do you study
>Do you like it

Pic related, electronic engineering

It's decent.

Harvard - Business Law

t. chad

Also go Kent, comp sci, currently on placement.

Shit is dope

go to you fucking piece of shit

Comp sci, also at Kent (no really), also on placement (no really)
Cool place, EZ degree

First year here. Good uni

What course you on?

Comp sci.

I don't want to filter these threads

But I will

>Where & what do you study
Community college in the Pacific Northwest, studying for an Associates in Applied Science for cybersecurity and computer forensics. It's also a transfer program to a local university's Bachelors program. I won't be transferring right away but I'm keeping my options open.
>Do you like it
I love it. I never thought I'd like learning about enterprise security, forensics, and even general sysadmin kind of work. It's really cool.

Surprised to see so many Kentfags here.

>Kent
cockney wanker init

CSE or ECE? What year?

Has waller retired yet?

Mate just look around your lecture someday, full autism.

Has David Barnes choked to death on his own shit yet?

ECE 1st year. Don't have Waller, I see his page is still on the EDA website though.

>University of Western Ontario, Computer Science
>It's ok.

I don't expect a single other person from UWO to be browsing /gee/

Pic related is Math and CS building.

Wow, that building is sick
Our CS block looks like crap

Ah good, no java for you, and they'll actually bother to expose you C in first year (arudinos and mbed not included).

I did CSE, thought it would be a more balanced course... I was wrong, it's just much less rigorous.

Oh, assuming the engineering analysis module hasn't changed much, you are about to get rekt.
They spoon-feed you all the maths you are meant to already know, then shove Fourier series down your throat in 5 minutes.
Don't worry, nobody really understands it until final year.

mah nigga

what year are you

the 2208 midterm is tomorrow

Sorry, to clarify, I'm doing the foundation year.

From what I've found so far, the foreign lecturers tend to be pretty bad, I've had 3 Chinese guys I hardly understand.

Politecnico di Milano

Aerospace Engineering.

Best in Italy.

El Sakka for dayz. Not the same year as you though.

Well then, enjoy the free ride for another 18 months, you can pretty much wing everything until the group projects start.

>the foreign lecturers tend to be pretty bad
Sounds about right. Thing is they really do know their stuff, just piss poor at explaining things.
Just ask them to go over anything at the end you need to double check, they're more than used to repeating themselves by now.

if you see someone on clover, holla

>until the group projects start
>group projects

welp

Thanks for the advice user.

just expect to do everything yourself

Computer Science, currently on a placement year.

Just hope that somebody in your allocated group dies or drops out of the course, then you'll only have to carry 2 retards to the finish instead of 3.

Also, don't do the MEng year. Allocated groups, except this time you don't even get to choose the project.

>No postgraduates
Why are you here?

tbqh I'm hoping the foundation year will filter out some of the idiots on the course

I'm thinking of switching unis at the end of the year
