/Presidents day sales/

Post good deals here.

>2017
>still thinking 4gb ram is enough

those bezels

why not call it a 5 inch laptop instead?!

fucking disgusting

BUMP!

Yea but for 250$ it ain't that bad. You can overlook the small stuff.

I'll bet this laptop could probably handle some light gaming too.

I never find myself using more than 4gb. Should I upgrade to 8gb?

You people are really dumb.
This is a $250 device.

is anyone even having a sale?

looks to me like only newegg is doing something and it's pretty shit-tier at that

The general consensus is that 8gb are enough to run pretty much anything. If you don't usually use more than 4 gb you are fine, but since RAm is the cheapest upgrade you can get, you might benefit from more in a seminoticeable way.

TL;DR More is better, but not essential.

>This is a $250 device.
And I got a used business laptop off Ebay for 90 dollars and it came with 8 gigs of RAM and an old i5 that's faster than that i3.

newegg has been shit tier for years now

Keyword there is "Used"

This is a brand new laptop.

And the hinges will break and the GPU will warp within 3 months. What the fuck is your point? Business class laptops won't fucking die after 3 months like consumer shit.

deal?

>celeron
>2G RAM
>32G eMMC
>180 USD
Might as well get a fucking Raspberry Pi.

It could be pretty good if it can run Arch.
Arch doesn't need much ram to be a beast.

Because the screen is 15.6" no matter how big the bezels are.
Are you really this retarded?

What are the chances i can upgrade the ram on this thing?

Slim to none, it's most likely going to be soldered like the rest of these fanless machines.

Read the reviews before you commit to anything.
I'm interested too in the viability of an alternate OS on some of these lower-end laptops.

>that piece of shit
>good deal

Protip: linux compatibility is extremely shitty with recent atom CPUs

Guys what do you think about Acer Travelmate series? 500$ for a 13.3 i3 laptop is pretty based i guess.

Just remember who these deals are a tribute to.

Hinges will break after 1 year of usage

Dubs don't lie
