Yes here is my pastebin book mark it
I'm thinking of getting one.
i5 3550, 8gb 1600mhz, 240gb SSD, 1tb 7200rpm mech HD, and gigabyte 1060 6gb.
Coming from a gtx 660 it's pretty eye candy.
>Not gonna change CPU until Chris Roberts' Great Lie is exposed.
>implying it won't be the greatest vidya of all time
>he fell for the goyvidia meme
should've bought an rx 480
>>he fell for the goyvidia meme
>should've bought an rx 480
Nice shit post, now go back to Sup Forums
>He fell for the RX 480 meme
Buying any product in AMD line up is like trying to ass fuck yourself with a morning star.
>RX 460
>Better 1050 Ti exists in the same price
>RX 470
>Thermal throttles itself into oblivion while costing as much as RX 480
>RX 480
>1060 gtx for poor people who can't pay $20 extra to get better temperatures, lower noise and drivers that actually work without constantly artifacting.
AMD GPU department is literally a meme that Sup Forums anons use to trick Sup Forums into buying shitty hardware so they can fuck off forever.
>better temperatures
My RX 480 maxes out at 61C in a typical gayming load unless I use something retarded like furmark.
>lower noise
Only an issue if you bought reference.
>drivers that actually work without constantly artifacting
AMD drivers have been solid for quite some time now, weren't people with geforce cards complaining about drivers recently? Ironic, isn't it?
I'll take things that didn't happen for $500 please.
The 1050ti is balls, the 470 crushes it for only $30 more.
Stay in denial if it makes you feel better.
Canada bro here.
Someone tell me why I shouldn't buy the MSI RX 480 8gb Armor OC for $275?
The gtx 1060 6gb is out of question as it's 360+ here.
The other versions of the RX 480 are more expensive. 310/320 for a MSI rx 480 8gb Gayming X and $295 for the Gigabyte G1 rx 480 8gb.
Seems like a good deal, but there are few benchmarks for this particular version of the card.
>No actual showcase of GPU load usage
>34 min
>good and honest
What did he mean by this?
Because it's gonna reach 80 degrees under load while waking all your neighbors in order to keep it at 80 degrees to begin with. Buying cheap non-ref AMD cards is like asking for a housefire.
sounds like you're butthurt because you paid more for a card that performs the same as the 480
I have a haf 922 with three 200mm fans though. Would it really get that hot?
Sounds like a good deal.
As for benchmarks, it should perform the same or a little better than a reference RX 480 while being quieter.
I'd say go for it.
>AMD Housefire RX470
>120W
>No PhysX
Also, you can always pay "only" $30 more dollars, I could argue that the 1060 for only $30 more dollars crushes the 470, but you have to stop at some point.
I myself wanted to spend 110 on the 1050, but I stretched and for $30 more got the Ti, if I had stretched again "only" $30 dollars I could get the 470 and for "only" $30 more the 1060, before I know it I did spend $100 more dollars than I wanted/could afford...
Besides, the 1050 competes with the 460 and you know it.
1050 vs 460
1060 vs 470
1070 vs 480? Nop, it can't even beat the 1060...
the regular 1050 does, the 1050 ti is a stupid card. and do people seriously care about physx?
I decided to go for the Ti mostly because it has 4GB instead of only 2... 2GB runs a bit short nowadays, I don't know if it was worth it, but I was already stretching on my budget, could not go any higher.
Besides, I got the mini version, I have a small case and I love the fact that consumes only 75W and performs like a GTX680
>rx470 can be had for 150-170 bucks
>rx480 can be had for 180-200 bucks
>3g 1060 is 200+
>6g 1060 is 240+
What?
Holy shit, why is it so expensive? A gtx 1060 6 gig is like $200 here and rx 480 8 gig is $180
>1060 6 gig
>200 bucks
newegg.com
>muh nvidia is expensive meme
RX480 = $185 the cheapest 4GB version
1060 = $191 the cheapest 3GB version
RX480 = $220 the cheapest 8GB version
1060 = $229 the cheapest 6GB version
Barely more expensive and more powerful, consuming less energy, only drawback that has less memory, but is it really necessary in that line of cards?
There is no point in getting the RX480, it doesn't make sense, and the 470 is 20 less dollars in avg than a 3GB 1060, so is it really worth it?
>buying the shittiest model of any card
no thanks
Is just for comparison
Better AMD cards are more expensive as well idiot.
this is my graphics card
You were supposed to buy an 8GB RX 480
Please stop posting
Mods
no that's a stock card

>$200 480 8gb nitro

>$165 470 8gb gaming x
no excuse not to buy amd
>I could argue that the 1060 for only $30 more dollars crushes the 470,
No, you couldn't. The difference between the 1060 3GB and the 470 is much smaller than the difference between the 470 and the 1050ti.
Kill yourself, you dumb fucking shit stain.
480 is more powerful doe
The 1060 has a higher core clock than the rx 480, but why does the rx 480 beat the 1060?
oh shit you have one too? i have 2 for crossfire and they work amazingly
Pls answer me im buying a new gpu
