Suicide yourself to death.
People here actually use their computers for important stuff.

Actually you don't. kpatch or KSplice do exist.

I just picked it as a name for my distro

that's fine i guess

Sounds like a KDE thing

...

K means kernel for a lot of their projects.

was meant for >implying everything starting with K is KDE shit

if you don't run a sensitive server using live kernel patching is absolutely retarded

>all these fags pretending their home Linux desktop is a precious production server that can't be rebooted

It's retarded to use in a lot of situations. People seem to be under the impression live patching is an alternative to updating your kernel, when in reality it's there to allow you time to properly plan an update strategy. The easiest example being a zero day like Dirty Cow coming out on Monday and affecting a server that absolutely can't get rebooted until Sunday.

Hell, I'd expect most companies aren't stupid enough to let themselves get into a position where they only have one box doing a very important job.

Weren't a lot of the features planed for 4.10 pushed back to 4.11?
Also isn't 4.9 supposed to be supported for a long time.
