1080 Ti

Anybody have a decent idea how much the GTX 1080 Ti will cost? How much were the 980 Ti and 770 Ti when they first came out?

$699 780 Ti
$649 980 Ti

Guessing 1080 Ti should be $699 and 1080 will be $499 after price cut just like the 980 was $499

I was reading it might launch around march 20th. Do you think its going to sell out very fast and not be available for a few months and do you think will be even more expensive at launch(vs. just 2 months after)

I was hoping for $700-$850 any more then that I'll probably just opt for a 1080

After seeing how nvidia goes with the pricing lately, I'm sure it will be $999.

That's ridiculous, what is it going to be like 25% faster then the 1080?

HEY OP

>LET ME GOOGLE THAT FOR YOU

I have googled it and read mixed things. Just wanted to hear opinions from other people

...

MSRP on cards these days are fucked.

I'd say 900-1000

It's literally the Titan XP you cucks, also exclusively sold from nvidia, no third party sales

$700 being the base MSRP for aftermarket GTX 1080 Ti’s & $800+ for the Founder’s Edition, so just say that it's a thousand bucks; 1080 might also get a price drop

Will this push down 10X0 prices?

$999
$1099 Founder's Edition with vapor chamber stealth bomber blower cooler folded 100000 times

Valerian™ steel dual exhaust pipes*

No but Vega will

Will the regular edition and founders edition be available at the same time? Do you think they'll let's say release it in like March 20th then they'll get sold out and be released a couple months down the line? What was the launch for the 980TI like?

How can they justify 400 dollars over the 1080? The performance can't be more then 25-50% over the 1080

>justify

Nvidia don't have to justify anything.
They have no competition at that performance point. Take it or leave it.

wait when are we expecting a price announcement for this thing?

Rumors say March announcement.

Hopefully they panic over AMD again like with the 980 Ti from Fiji/Fury and fuck over everyone who bought a 1080.

How would they fuck over everyone who bought a 1080?

By selling the 1080 Ti for around $600, slightly dropping the prices of the 1070, and half phasing out the 1080.

It can't possibly be as bad as with the 980 though, since 1080 Ti won't be as much of a comparative step up though.

i remember the regular GTX 780 dropping from 600 to around 500 euros very quickly here at its peak, thats with 20% value added tax so its significantly less in US dollars. prices have definitely gone up since the 900 series.
