If you cannot set in the BIOS the SATA mode to IDE Emulation, then you need the DVD version, create a USB install and insert the SATA drivers anywhere in the USB drive.

1. Download the DVD version, here's a link: pirateproxy.vip
2. mount it
3. plug in an 4GB or larger USB stick
4. launch the USB installer from the mounted DVD

Because it's not intended to be used on PC, but for embedded systems.
Even the security updates bare provide anything.
You shouldn't use WinXP online neither.
But I know some people HAVE to use it because of certain drivers/software that are only available to WinXP.
