So my new watch had sped up by 20 seconds over the night. That's kind of a lot. Especially since it was already running 5 seconds fast before I went to bed, so I placed it in the crown down position which is supposed to lose seconds.
Going to try it dial down which should lose even more seconds.

Can't really go wrong with the 017 if you like the looks. I read conflicting opinions on the strap, some say it's shit while others say it's fine. So replacing the strap is something to take into consideration with it.

Basically the position the balance wheel is in affects it's accuracy (due to gravity). So it's adjusted in lots of positions to try and lower these inaccuracies.

I really like the watch, but I'm not sure about the strap I put on it.
I wanted to get a homemade raw leather looking strap so it looked military style. But I think the watch is too dressy and the strap too bulky so it looks dumb. I'm not sure if it cheapens it.

Biannual means twice a year. If you want to say every other year we have a separate word, "biennial."
Bimonthly or biweekly can mean either twice or once every two. Which is annoying. Especially since that means Biweekly (when used as every other week) and Bimonthly (twice a month) are very close to the same thing (24 occurrences annually versus 26.)
I wish we could standardize it to always mean twice a period, and maybe use some new words to refer to every other week and month.
