It's an SMS/MMS app supporting encryption. If "messaging" means IM, then Wire would be better than signal, wouldn't it? It's shilled all over Sup Forums followed with pic related. Either way when it comes to IM just use whatever your friends use, which is most likely FB messenger.

Firefox is godlike on android. Being much better and more functional than other browsers and only being worse designed than Lightning (horizontal tabs are superior to square tabs). I can't believe people use chromium/chrome, it has a terrible UI and performs much worse than firefox.

OpenCamera. It also unlocked 4k video recording on my phone while the stock camera only goes up to 1080p60.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but NewPipe almost NEVER loads ANY video. It just sits there with the fucking loading circle, endlessly. Sometimes I close the app and try again and it works, but most of the time it just never works and I give up on ever actually using NewPipe.

Yeah that happens every once in a while, but it isn't frequent. I think that the youtube website on a browser is the best youtube option.

Not OP, but have MacroDroid script setup to fire Wake on Lan packets to PC when it connects to wireless matching set SSID between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM just so it's booted when I walk up to it.

Calling another app at the time was harder to setup than Tasker, but could be done.
