Hello paid google shill
>paid
i wish
Hi troll
he does it for free
Get at me until it can show Youtube comments
I like reading shit
>no subscriptions
Why even bother.
>reading comments
Are you gay?
Are you a masochist?
you ok?
Skytube does that.
Or you can subscribe via RSS.
>Bundesagentur für Arbeit
Every time I see this logo, I think it's the one from the German job centers (Deutsche Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
Does it trigger you, neet?
Coincidence? I think not.
I used to go there, but I'm a college student now.
>87, 88
damn
Why not simply use Firefox?
>subscription
>comments
>background playing without the need of a button
You still connect to the botnet though
>free yourself
>uses youtube
>free yourself
>>"Agentur für Arbeit" logo
>>>ARBEIT MACHT FREI
at least you dont give cash to jewnet
You keep saying that word but I don't think you know what it means
No 1080p
So, what advantages has this over the official YouTube app?
Nah I'm good.
Background playback
No ads
Can download audio or video
The only feature it's missing that I care about is playlist support, but there's a pull request on GitHub for that.
It's basically a Youtube player that also lets you download videos, download the audio only, stream the audio only, use an external player and most of all, does not require Google Play.
Webtube.apk works for me
Does it support live videos yet?
WARNING! THIS APPLICATION PROMOTES A NON-FREE NETWORK SERVICE! WARNING!
I only use it to share links on mobile.
Let me know when it has playlist support and subscriptions.
Will it ever support streaming to TVs or screen cast?
Finally someone said it.
not yet
only streaming to kodi is supported at the moment as far as i know
>Not reading comments
Are you illiterate?
Downvoted.
Yeah I would like it to have subscriptions, I can use firefox with adblocker and it works just fine.
How can you be freed of Google's botnet if you are actively connected to their service tho? Or is it just to free yourself of the Playstore?
software i dont like = botnet
Allcast app as an external player works for me.
Allconnect is the app's name actually.
No because Chromecast is proprietary. Use another app to play the downloaded videos on your TV.
The PlayStore is a botnet
So is YouTube.
You can't download from a site and call that a botnet. You install it into your system with permissions. Dumbass.
You visit a Google service => you get tracked => botnet.
You can prevent tracking and again, a botnet is something you install into your system.
How old are you, dumbass?
>You can prevent tracking
Now who's the dumbass here. You're next line is going to be "BUT MUH TOR/VPN"
I don't need tor or a VPN when I'm behind 7 proxies
Nice job giving your data to seven third parties.
I would, but incomplete triangles are a symbol for pedophilia, and I don't want to associate myself with john podesta.
Only the first one gets my data
Call me again when I can finally fucking subscribe to channels.
As in, the only reason to even use Youtube at all.
As well as Google. Even if you're anonymized they still get statistical data about what people are viewing and you can bet your ass they use browser fingerprinting. And not using browser/using an unofficial app is a huge red flag for them.
pretty sure most of us know what it means and if not, it's literally just a definition search away
It's more for the easy tag to give to software or services that don't respect your privacy
You should go back.
>people who don't fall in line with my shitty meme are braindead redditors
Thanks OP, waiting patiently for playlists :)
>>background playing without the need of a button
With sound and all? How?
That's literally how that works. People went over that stage 3 years ago and just accepted it.
>not using OGYoutube
So much this. Don't expect these fuccbois to agree tho.
>shilling your 0/10 app
kys you're sel`fves
How what? It's not exactly hard to do, apps on the background are still running. The regular YouTube app doesn't have this feature because Google refuses to knowledge the fact that their site is used for audio as well as video.
>The regular YouTube app doesn't have this feature because Google refuses to knowledge the fact that their site is used for audio as well as video.
No, it's because you can't see ads when it's running in the background.
>How?
- go to YouTube.com
- open a video and play it
- do something else while letting the Firefox tab playing in the background
Like said.
Also Google wants to jew you and buy music from the play store
Well, I hadn't tough of that, but now that you mention it, that sounds like a more plausible reason.
>Could not decrypt url signature
Any idea what could possibly keep causing that?
You need to update your version.
>no support for livestreams
Dropped.
Update it you retard. Google made changes and broke every app except theirs.
Isn't mobile version limited to some shit quality? Or you're simply using the desktop version.
Channels actually working, bretty good op.
On thing bugging me is when you go from playing in background back to the app the video starts from the beginning. Can you get it to resume from where you left off in background?
>Also Google wants to jew you and buy music from the play store
hehe
>android
is there one for windows/linux?
So this scrapes YouTube and then loads the data so you don't use the YouTube app?
How does this free us from YouTube exactly?
> Doesn't stop Google from censoring whoever they want
> Doesn't prevent YouTube from altering search algorithms to ''accidentally' sink videos into the nether realms
> Data is parsed directly from Youtube so it has continually scrape the system for new videos - meaning it will continually be lagging behind actual YouTube.
> Is it even desktop compatible? Desktop accounts for roughly 50-70% of the YouTube audience
The future is a P2P / Blockchain video network. This app is just putting lipstick on a pig.
This is not needed on Windows or Linux. We have youtube-dl for that.
Whatever this app is it looks shitty. Bloating the UI with useless like/dislike/share buttons.
didn't youtube remove the RSS subscriptions
>So this scrapes YouTube and then loads the data so you don't use the YouTube app?
>> Data is parsed directly from Youtube so it has continually scrape the system for new videos - meaning it will continually be lagging behind actual YouTube.
Nigga what?
Podesta is not a pedophile, but maybe you are, asshole. You seem to know all about it.
thanks for correcting the record
>he actually watches videos in browser with screen tearing and dropped frames instead of the superior app experience
>Bloating the UI
Because fullscreen doesn't exist, right?
Show me any other app that simultaneously allows
>background playback
>playback in a pop-up
>download video/audio
>subscriptions
>playlists
>play 360 and VR videos
>play 60fps videos
>rate videos
>read/write comments
>upload videos
>not break after every Google's update
Everything that doesn't do all of that is a meme client, don't fall for that garbage, people.
I don't have a shit phone, mate.
This. Everytime you fuccbois post "new Newpipe!" I install it, realize it still sucks and uninstall within a minute. Not this dickhead
Has anyone got it to download directly to external sd on non rooted android 6.0.1?
I know there is some permission involved but I don't get the prompt and cant seem to give it manually.
>negus watching shit on the phone
wtf
How do I make discord use newpipe for videos?
How come youtube-dl can live stream but newfag cannot?
>upload videos
>read/write comments
>playback in a pop-up
Useless features for a mobile app. Also
>360/VR videos
They're a meme and a
Wat
I'm not going to use this shit but I have to say the default youtube app is pretty bad, lately it stutters with fucking 720p videos on my tablet, when until not long ago it could handle 1080p no sweat.
>having a shit tablet
I am
>this app promotes non-free network services
you tried
I tried to use YourTube+ (Xposed module) to get 720p on my shitty S4 Mini since YouTube only shows 360p. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. But NewPipe lets me see 720p. Fuck Google.
have they fixed the audio issue yet?
Have they fixed it so you can watch videos?
I mean, any idiot can tell that widescreen videos are supposed to be viewed in landscape, but the videos are always in the same orientation as everything else.
It's good.
Works on my machine(tm)
So you can press a fullscreen button to make the video fullscreen or does it still rely on auto rotation?
