Ideal 10-11" laptop

i want a little laptop I can take with me everywhere, the t100ha is pretty close to it besides how shit the QC was on them and the restricted hinge

I'm looking for:
-full mobility hinge
-4gb ram
-x86
-laptop, not tablet with keyboard attachment
-good battery life
-that's it. Screen can be 1280x800 trash even.

Does this exist? I'd accept a chromebook if it could have Linux put on it natively

Lenovo 100S 11

trackpad seems to suck tho

Theres a 14 inch version of it now im currently considering ....

MacBook with Linux, it's a 12" screen in an 11" form factor.

new convertible version of xps 13

chromebook.

Oh daddy someone called;)

>how shit the QC
what are you talking about? Quad Core?
It's 5% faster than highest available gay trail - z3795
plus twice as fast iGPU
>and the restricted hinge
true, if you want to use it on your lap it's definitely not recommended

tfw no salma hayek dominatrix

unless.. youre talking about quality control, or rather quality assurance.
And yes, it's a real issue if you try to get the 2GiB model. 4GiB model is fixed

That's worse than the old XPS 13 and is objectively a worse but than the HP Spectre x360

>I need a 2-in-1 hinge
>Can't be a tablet with removable keyboard
I don't understand why, the new surface is literally just as powerful as any thin/light laptop nowadays and more portable...
Chromebooks can install Linux natively, I though that was the whole point of Manjaro?
Also HP Spectre x360 (not the newest model with only thunderbolt, but last year's model that still has Kaby lake and comes with actual ports)
Portable, powerful, and even the macfags get jealous

>giving up PCIe expansion capability for less dongles

There's literally never been a more perfect woman, except maybe Kate Beckinsale

Yeah I was talking about quality control, when they first came out all I would read were issues with ghost taps and rebooting

Because I want to be able to use it on my lap in the subway

2460p

Would you rather hold a tablet or hold a laptop while your screen wobbles with each bump?

Laptops have keyboards. I'm not coding on the train on a fucking tablet

I just upgraded my Lenovo n22 to an IPS screen. The n22 is like $160, and the IPS screen is $50. Idk about how good the Linux support is, but I have installed Gallium OS on it briefly, and there's always crouton. I think that's about the absolute cheapest laptop that fits your criteria.

IPhone 4s

Why do you want a 2-in-1 in that case?

thinkpad x220
with slice battery and 9cell, it goes to 20 hours

can upgrade to 16GB of ram

steel hinges

old school built to last quality

sandy bridge chip

the best keyboard every made

Also, get the IPS panel. The screen is bad otherwise.

-posted from my x220

Where did I say that I wanted a 2 in 1?

That's what a "full mobility hinge" is

gotcha, I emphasized "laptop" repeatedly though. I more just want a 180 degree hinge so I can open it up flat and can actually use it on my lap. The t100ha has the problem that it doesn't open far enough so the screen doesn't face you properly if you don't use it from a certain angle

SL510. I had one given to me and it's been a solid little machine.

>thinkpad poorfag

no

Asus model no x200ca. It's what I got, gotta your description perfectly and I love it.

Thinkpad X220 with 9 cell battery.

Put Salma's funbags on Kate and my dick would explode.

there's no sexy 11.6" x360s apparently
