I expected it to rise to $4 in hype for their supposed final line but had no idea it would go this far so I dropped it when it floated at $7.

I dumped about 30k in tesla stock during its IPO. It was all of my savings at the time, but holy fuck what an investment. 30k into 450k.


Let me tell you something about how unimpressive AMD stock is. I put 3k in when it was 2 bucks only have a net gain of like 18k. Not too mention how risky AMD STILL is.

Exactly what im going to do. AMD is in my "experimental short term" portfolio. I'll give it a few weeks to see how it performs and then sell it depending on what happens to invest in my regular short-term stocks.

Snapchat, Lyft, and AirBnB all have IPOs this year. I might use the AMD stock for that.

possibly, but im not expecting it to be something i'd invest in the long term anyway. Probably ride the first short (like what happened with facebook) and once the more jittery investors dump early, buy up some more stock once its cheap again, i'll see if it picks back up.
