It's a law that says that copyright holders who want to provide movies in Europe needs to make them available everywhere in the world. For example an American who uses his netflix account in Canada can't access anything that he is used to. But if Netflix want to legally provide movie streaming in Europe then any european who travels to canada (or everywhere else) get full access to all tv-shows and movies and so on. Copyright holders can't just block it anymore

Yeah, I agree with OP. It's too many movies and tv-shows. How are people going to choose when they have thousands of movies to choose from?
