Also giving a (you)
Good stuff. Even for being underground, that nazi coin is in a nice condition.
Also, what's that 2 on the middle? A bullet?
pic related is my favourite coin, got it from my grandfather as a gift a while ago
5¢,10¢,25¢,1$,2$ respectively
My grandfather found one of this coins in his farm.

>Spanish coinage was legal tender in the United States until the Coinage Act of 1857 discontinued the practice.
B-but its franc! That money doesn't exist anymore. And it makes me so sad.
A lot of good stuff comes from older relatieves. Do you have any pictures of those coins?
here's a pic w/ comparitive size, its a rather large and heavy coin, the '65 Voyageur silver dollar
t b h Canadian coins are pretty top notch in terms of currency, and wherever there's the toonie style coin like the right one in my pic, a Canadian made it.

Anyone seen the new design for £20 notes? Looks like fucking 3rd world monopoly money.
Lovely stuff, it seems it was a nice gift.
Also, when was the last time you saw a penny?
wew t b h, not terrible but still get a latin american vibe from it
our money's at its peak visually imo, and with them going plastic they'll be around for a while
>old on right of pic, new on left
I think the current £20 looks much better (pic related), they're also going to put that stupid design with louder colours on all other notes. Your money seems to have gone the opposite direction in terms of colour vibrancy, which is good, bright colours look retarded on money.
yeah, it was one of those gifts that you dont really appreciate until you're older
>Also, when was the last time you saw a penny?
well there's one on my desk wew
but in reality, you rarely see them anymore, we've near completely transitioned them out
although, I'd say there's a good fortune of them in our sewer systems, with a majority of them falling into drainage grates over the years
This one is such a beauty
They always look like shit before release, but they should look better on paper.
But I hope those blank margins won't be on the final bill.
agreed t b h, i prefer earthly/natural colours if you get me
nice piece, I'd check it out but the majority of bi-metallic coins are minted in Canada, we do so for 18 different countries
I truly hope so too.
Maybe there'll be a better design after the Queen dies.
It's a fantastic coin with a great design I wish I can put in my hands some time.
And it seems a lot of them has also fall south when they circulate with the US penny.
>after the Queen dies
>Queen
>dying
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN
seriously though, she seems near immortal, I've never really heard anything about health problems and she's friggin 90
yeah, I'd assume a fair bit is tourist money, Canadians love latin america
fuck, my parents just got back from Cuba
Our new incredibly UGLY coins
If she did have health problems, I doubt they'd be made public anyway, but yeah, I'd bet there's a good chance she'll live past 100 (probably outliving Charles in the process).
Why is nobody commenting about Pokemon Niue coins? Those are awesome.
2 Korunas from the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
Suppose she outlives Charles, would William or Andrew be the successor?
...
William will be King, a lot of people would have to die for Andrew to be next in line.
At least the 10 SEK stays the same. What's up with those lines on the 2 kronor?
>tfw monarchies still exist
pretty fucking rad if you'd ask me
Here is the current line of succession.
It doesn't really mean anything, it's a gimmick to get tourists to come here really.
>What's up with those lines
The central bank's webpage just says it's a "stylized whirlwind", so I guess that is what it is.
Ask them what kind of coins they have. The actual Cuban one or the tourist currency they have there.
After the fall of communism in Checoslovakia they released the same coin without the star during 1991
Seems strange that one could inherit the crown without his or her parent having actually been the monarch. But thanks for the answer!
...
from an otuside perspective, it's not really top for tourism, its more of an identity thing if any gimmick
but still, nice to see tradition translate into the modern age so seamlessly as with your monarchy
ah yeah, the cuban convertible peso vs the cuban peso, i think they ended up getting a bit of both
We have a rare pepe in our bills.
>tfw coin threads are best threads
Sadly there aren't a lot of threads about currency anymore. It's hard to keep an active thread on Sup Forums without resorting to shitpost.
But he's not green
I suppose I could post our current coins.
It seems they are changing their desing by next year.
first two haven't been used since 1992.
