nowhere in USA hires full-time for lowskilled work since obamacare, at most he'll get 18-24 hours working at mcdonalds so they don't have to pay for benefits
it would take him over a year just to save up the money to put first month's rent + downpayment down , more if he has to pay utilities or for food which is why people don't bother getting off welfare because you end up losing money
