Needs more cores.
Needs more cows.
Needs more crows
Needs more big numbers
needs more meat
Needs more cowbell
...
Needs to be less rude
Morons. Put the cow in head first.
This but its actually less than 4 seconds with parallellism. But obviously never 2
Split the cow before it goes into the funnel and give the grinder 2 funnels to represent SMT/HT
...
2 is not even that outlandish of a scenario. 85% of efficiency is pretty standard for today.

you should have made it with the 220W bulldozer at least
>tfw you bought the e8400 instead of q6600
it served me well but ultimately it was the wrong choice
...
I remember when everyone on Sup Forums was jumping on the Q6600 + 8800GT bandwagon.
Neeeds more heat.

You might be the oldest poster in this thread right now.
Games should be represented by chicken. You can't parallelise them.
That was me. Good times.
you can parrallelise unrelated components like the surround sound system and the graphics engine. Or world tics that aren't relevant to the graphics engine immediately. Or AI.
Honestly for most desktop users using traditional operating systems a lot of cores aren't that helpful. It's amazing for compiling but if you just click facetube it doesn't matter.
Winner
That was me also.
I ran it at 3GHz for the whole time I had it, eventually upgrading to an i7 4770 which I still don't need to upgrade.
I miss the single slot cards. 8800GT was a slick motherfucker at 1280x1024. SLI didn't do jack shit for it at that resolution, but the 8800GTX was the same price for the same performance anyways.
The 8800GT was slick as fuck, but it really was pushing the limit of the single slot cooler.
I remember playing Clear Sky on it and getting to temperatures of around 103C.
People bitch if cards get to 85C now. They could probably do decent single slot cards now if they targeted 100C again but people would lose their shit.
