Ah perhaps, but I can explain this one.
It's the shield of Burgundy, because Burgundy was the largest region and a part of the is the Netherlands either. In the left part of the shield is the coat of arms of the duchy of Limburg. In the right part of the shield it's the duchy of Brabant. Also the place were the capital used to be (Brussel). In the center you can see the shield of Flanders. We have the so called Orde van het Gulden Vlies. That's that amulet around the shield. At each side there's a lion, because the shape of the country looked like a lion. The crown has the band which was worn by the dukes of Burgundy. And you can see the Fleur de Lys several times. That's because the Netherlands back them existed of lands from the Holy Roman Empire AND France.
