Dubai vs Brisbane: strawpoll.me/10292314

>Brisbane
How are you gonna compare a desert city that literally began less than 30 years ago to an established city that's been there for centuries and is in a relatively moderate climate with trees and lakes and shit like that?

Doesn't make sense. Give Dubai another 50 or so years and then we can make some comparisons.

Dubai, UAE

chill dude it's a skyline competition

a highway ramp connecting an elevated highway and an underground highway

neat

btw how was the last earthquake

The earthquake happened in eastern Japan in 2011 didn't affect to highways in Tokyo so much, but the earthquake happened in Kobe region in middle of 90s gave significant damage to highways. Pic is related.

Tokyo highway became a water slider because of a massive snow fall in 2014.

rip

a highway that was originally a canal a hundred years ago.

Dubai>>>>>>>>

>no African skylines
how problematic

>problematic
trash tier skylines, Warsaw is better

and Warsaw is shit
>this meme hate on Dubai
are people THAT jealous

Brisbane, Australia

...

...

There's something really boring and mundane about Brisbane. I kind of prefer Perth, or even Gold Coast, though they're somewhat smaller.

I was considering to include Gold Coast instead but Brisbane is larger

apart from the Infinity Tower yes Brisbane is pretty boring I mean it looks like just some average boxy American skyline

anyway yesterday you were saying you hope the HK towers will raise above the hills - they never did because there are height restrictions in that area, skyscrapers actually can't be taller than the hills

Well, Gold Coast isn't that small, but I suppose it's a bit smaller. It's funny how the skyscraper district there is technically a suburb.

How high are those hills, anyways?

no idea probably like 150-200m+

reee lads please don't tell me Dubai will lose in the first round again

last year it atleast lost to another top 10 skyline

D-Don't think they're that small.

Well, Victoria Peak there is just over 500 meters, which isn't much larger than the tallest tower.

oh yes im stupid

they are like 300-400 on average i think

Bumping with a dramatic view of Oslo

I like Warsaw's skyline best

Interesting how fast it becomes quite suburban

Absolutely horrifying
