Should we balkanize the EU? It seems that in its current state the differences and internal contradictions are too big for it to work out. There should be three about unions of about equal size who could have a higher level of integration with less conflicts. Of course the three unions should work together and the European single market should remain as it is, too.

I don't think the EU necessarily needs to be balkanized if we're not getting rid of it altogether, but the Euro definitely is not something that should be one-size-fits-all. It should be broken up into three Euros:
Euro A: Portugual, Italy, Greece, Spain, Cyprus
Euro B: UK, Ireland, France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia
Euro C: All former Communist countries
