All I felt when I saw it was disgust.

Because of the curve the screen has often distracting reflections on the sides. It just looks strange how content slightly curves inward. The rounded edges make no sense when all content is made for square displays. The glass construction with the very thin metal frame make it feel fragile. Because of the curved screen I couldn't really handle it with confidence.

Pic related is a phone I think feels good to hold and looks good without trying to impress you with novelty.

Tablets and laptops are much better for this.

And I really wanted to find a worthy upgrade for my S5, but the edge is a deal breaker for me too. Useless, there's Edge glare and it's harder to protect.

Personally I thought I would hate the edges too. But when I got my hands on an s6 edge+ about 2 years back I literally never went back, that shit is fucking revolutionary(even though it adds 0 extra functionality). And I'm still using it.
