To be honest for the money i'd rather get an iPad or 11" ultrabook

The new iPad looks like an incredible buy at $329.
Faster than any Android tablet released despite using the A9, cheaper than most Android tablets and it actually has the best support for apps.

To be honest the pocket makes me wish GPD could make a more "premium" version of the GPD WIN with better finishing.

I'd rather buy a Samsung tablet though just for the AMOLED screen and Android though.

I wish it had pen support, i'm almost tempted to pay the extra scratch for that feature.

Agreed, but I'm going to shill one of the new win10 netbooks first. I was considering tablets but went with the asus x205 with 4gb ram.

I almost always have onenote, a few pdfs and about 20 tabs running on edge. As powerful as i need +12 hour battery is nice.

~25Gb of usable on-board storage is probably a deal breaker for most people, but i use it for nothing other than to study so i don't mind.

all broadwell and broadwell-based architectures got this issue where lightning is gray/black, aka. alpha blend bug.
Check out pic rel. If you're familiar with l4d2 maps then this is a screenshot of last "No Mercy" campaign (safe room). Brightness is set to maximum, and yet everything is so fucking dark than this makes most games unplayable.
Also issue is not fixable via driver. Intel identified this issue as "non-critical" and it's noted in official spec update of both i7-5600u (and similar) series and xX-z8X00 atom series

thats because gpd overheats and the cpu is throttling. Normally if it's running at the maximum of it's capabilities it works fine.
Also there is a difference between single and dual channel memory. On single channel it could be unplayable because iGPU performance is degraded.
