KDE is for cucks.

t. minimalistic cuck

How is KDE minimalist?

>minimalist

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

>Needing a Desktop environment
Kys

KDE apps like:
>Kate
>Konsole
>Konquerer
>Kontact

Are perfect for Kucks.

Cinnamon

...

It is the best because they have a handful of good programmers.
Take something like krunner.
KDE have had this for ages, it is essential for any device with a keyboard I don't see why other desktops environments doesn't implement this.

Using something that isn't krunner is like using a terminal without autocompletion.
I don't see the point in limiting myself with something that is slower than kde.

Kek

You misspelled cinnamon

>when ubuntu switches to gnome

wow

KDE: The "Windows" of desktop environments.

KDE is the best DE because:
1)Qt is currently one of the best toolkits
2)KWin is currently one of the best window managers
3)Almost all KDE applications are excellent (the exception here is Kwallet).
4)KDEConnect
5)The development has been very active for the last couple of years.

>KDEConnect
This.
It's pretty great

You misspelled MATE. Manjaro MATE is goat and runs like a dream.

KDEConnect is one of those things I never thought I'd need until I used it.
Always impresses normies when you control the computer from across the room.

KDE is the polar opposite of minimalism

KDE is an umbrella project for a lot of different applications so in most distros if you install a kde-desktop type metapackage it's going to include a lot of applications.

That being said there is absolutely nothing stopping you from running kwin+tint2 type of setup.

Also I'm not sure why so many people on Sup Forums insist on running "minimalist" desktops. I would bet that the performance gain is negligible.

Also this phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=ubuntu-1704-desks&num=2

The difference in performance between various stock DEs is within 10fps on most tests.

So can we please for the love of RMS stop talking about the performance of desktop environments and focus on whether the applications are actually good or not?

I love having a lot of buttons and options, and being able to configure all sort of stuff.
That's why I like KDE.

Yes and this is why I use TDE.

You misspelled budgie??? Wrong pic as well, are you high user?

>postulating an initial open ended question then changing the question to one that seeks validation for your own opinionated answer to the initial question disregarding that the initial question is open ended and has no definitive correct answer

Because without KPPP how will i dial up my ISP?
