Not him but testing a 1080p laptop and a 4k laptop side by side is night and day. Text looks extremely crisp and everything is just sharper. If you can live without the additional battery life I wouldn't waste a second choosing the 4k display.

These are only meant for light gaming or CUDA software, but they are more powerful than normal U "i7" ultrabooks.

Also if you really want to game you won't buy a notebook. Especially if you want to play modern games in 4K. I bet this GPU could handle ME3 and CoD4 in 4K, but nothing more.
