1600 is quite impressive actually.

0.1% and 1% nice way to hide intel 200ms stutter

> RYZEN DOA
Vishera all over again, which means it's wiser to buy AMD if you aren't going to buy a new PC in 5 to 7 years after that.

What is better for mITX workstation R5 1600X or 7700K ?

Get the 1600, cheaper than the 1600X and comes with a good quality stock cooler.

>mITX

Yeah, mastarrace choice, I know.

OCing board vs a mid tier board?

There's no mITX mobos for Ryzen as for now.

y-y-yeah intel is b-b-b-better

>Slightly worse in gaming but significantly better in productive applications
How is this a bad thing?

so SLI is a waste of money? that's not exactly news.

>nvidia drivers

also his numbers got weird all of a sudden, nobody has those numbers

Looks more like a piece of evidence against SLI than against a processors.
I mean look at that garbage, your average frame rate spikes so you think it's running faster, but the average frame times barely decrease at all,

Like I keep telling people, async frame rendering (as used in all DX11 and below), is like a double barrelled shotgun. You fire from one barrel, and then the next almost at the same time (or at the same time), then you wait for the reload. Consider each shot a delivered frame.

The big problem is user input- the second card can't predict what input the user is going to put in and then extrapolate out the entire application to render that frame before it was even asked to be rendered.

The only solution is to render a single frame faster, and SLI/crossfire CANNOT do this.

>2017
>using sli/crossfire

The lower performance for AMD chips was confirmed to be due to NVidia drivers

The 1800X has no meaning in gaming when the 1600 exists.

For productivity it's a beast though, but you always end up paying through the ass for flagships

no it wasn't.
1060+ryzen actually performs better than 480+ryzen and 1060+intel in a bunch of games.

That's just wrong.

Now please tell me the 6900k did worse in gaming than a 1800X when this review was made 20 days ago.

There's nothing to argue here, the 6900k is close to the 7700k's performance in games unless you count ARMA and Fallout, the stock 1060 is slightly faster than a 480 too, so by all accounts the 6900k system should be faster, but it's slower, and not 1% slower.

AMD GPUs gimping Intel CPUs, why am I not surprised by this shitty company

>I will reverse meme (you)!

only Sup Forums would be dumb enough to think nvidia would purposefully make their own products look bad out of spite.

that's not what everyone is laughing at

No problem, building it after Intel releases Coffee Lake. Its gonna be fun.

several are announced though.

Lol, well at least we can put an end to the meme that Ryzen is better at 4k now.

Intel is still king in gaming

Yeah, by less than 10% compared to a $220 CPU.

Enjoy the stuttering.

Maximum performance is worth every penny, real gamers would even pay 100% more for 5% more performance, that's what real gamers are.

Stuttering?

I'm not buying a ryzen cpu m8

Nice novidya gimp drivers

Oy!

...

>real gamers

>1800X and 1600X
>1700

Gayman Nexus confirmed for diehard Intel shills

...

That was his point.

Pretty sure real GAYMURS would prefer smooth gayming over stutters.

I'm not buying stutterryzen though

meanwhile

Pick your poison

>SLI still shit
>4k still a memedream

Shocking.

Meanwhile

>nvidia gpu used for benchmarks

lol not again, their drivers are shit and can't take proper advantage of ryzen yet

>utilization of cpu cores in a game engine happens on the gpu driver side

AMDrone intellect everyone

>using youtube screenshots as a source

d-d-delet

>greentexting something makes it true!

>nvidia

These fucking benchmarks are so all over the place, I don't even know what's FUD and what's legit.

Goddamn fuck this forsaken hobby and the people who seriously partake in it, they should all be rounded up and shot, together with their marketing clerk overlords.

>gaming at 1280x720 with a 7700k
0800-come-on-now

...

>ignoring the more credible evidence makes it go away

All Intel CPUs are stuttering pieces of shit, I'd rather buy an 1700X over 7700k even if it's just for gayming purposes.

>gpu utilization AMD 100%
>gpu utlilization Nvidia 52%
Dat AMD overhead, nice drivers lol

Test area and people testing it, some tester just like to stare at wall and sky for maximum fps

>it's more credible because it fits my narrative! All other benchmarks are made by le merchant boogyman!

We already know Ryzen stutters and has bad frametimes, you don't have to keep repeating it

This cements the fact that Intel is complete garbage trash even in gaymen.

There's also this: youtube.com/watch?v=ybF7r4rogHc

>it's another "muh gaymes" shill thread
Sage and hide.

Wait for Kaby Lake-X

>complete garbage
>the 7700k, completely trashes the 1800x , which is almost twice as expensive

Fanboys are truly funny

Can we se same game on AMD cards pl0s? Because shitty drivers you know.

>7600k neck a neck with a 1800x
lol

Kaby lake-x wont fix this suttermess, it need dev write new code around those sutter just for intel. which only happen on esport game

If I wanted stuttering I'd pick AMD

>It's all a huge conspiracy, the stutters are not real

The are real, on AMD gpu's

Are you retarded, we talking about cpu

>poojeet mad at AMD's stuttering issues

>GPU
Holy shit you're clinically retarded.

...

Just the fact that you had to change the goalpost reinforces the fact that Intel's architecture is a stuttering mess.

I agree, Polaris is a stuttering mess

lol at 980ti and 780

Oh so it is actually a thing.

I remember when I was a kid playing cs1.6 on an intel pentium 4 board I used to get such stutters.
These things occured randomly but most of the time happened at the start of the round when someone popped in on my screen and started shooting at me.
By the time the stutter was "done" I was already dead most of the time.

Since I had no other explanation for it I convinced myself I'm just bad at this game and my brain "shuts off" for a split second everytime something's happening due to some weird information overload or something lol.

holy shit AMD is B U T T E R Y S M O O T H

Yes, everybody knows Intel is a stuttering piece of shit.

Lol@ any AMD card on that chart

Sounds like you just had crappy cheap hardware

...

Well yeah I obviously knew that even back then but I with the in-game fps counter I had well beyond the "minimum necessary" for smooth gameplay. Even on a self-hosted server with bots.

So Intel will remain a stuttering housefire for a very long time I guess.

Not as bad as Stutterlaris though

not really, gpu got driver to fix it. good luck getting driver fix for cpu

You're literally too retarded to make the distinction between CPU and GPU.

Drivers haven't fixed stutters on poolaris, and it has been out for ages so good luck with that

That guy is clinically retarded, he can't even tell the difference between CPU and GPU

>poojeet trying to shift the focus away from Stutterlaris

>>>>>>>>overwatch

Are you literraly to retarded to understand what an average means?

This is a thread about CPUs but of course a clinically retarded person would be unable to understand this.

kind interested now to see 580 frametimes tested on ryzen
100% sure would be lower

>what is GPU limit

Why are you interested in the results if you are already 100% sure?

I understand the reality of stuttering issues on AMD gpu's is a harsh reality for your to come to terms with.

Perhaps you will manage some day

not without context

it could mean "average framerate" or "aggregate score"

the screenshot is pointless and impertinent in this case
