Holy shit

Holy shit
Enjoy your another 100 MHz bumped new socket skylake housefire with a 15% faster igpu, goyim.
SHUT UP
>Both Skylake-X and Kabylake-X are to use the same LGA2066 socket (Socket R4) and both will lack integrated graphics processors.
(((they))) even cut the iGPU
>""""""""""new"""""""" kabylake - x
>new socket
>same 4c 8t like the 7700k
>+ 100 - 200Mhz clock bump
>112W Housfire™ Edition ™
>semitic cum as TIM
>b360
Holy fuck someone in AMD is having a GOOD fucking laugh.
DELID THIS!
Damn we 6 month refreshes now?
>NVIDIA releasing Volta early
Intel releasing espresso early
The fuck AMD?
>NVIDIA releasing Volta early
Probably no, it isn't taped out yet.
>volta
???
I know, the only indication any works been done on it was the device id for GV100 got added to their workstation drivers. Thats pre tapeout level of shit.
>GV100
>Gx100 anything from novideo
Aka shit we'll never see.
Fuck yes
I hope the 6 core CPUs will be still use the 1151 socket.
This is what I have been waiting for.
i9-8800k with 4Ghz base clock and 4.3Ghz turbo clocks @ 1.2V would kill AMD once again.
haha
hahahahaha
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Are you by any chance retarded? (rhetorical question)
It won't kill ayymd but it will burn down your house and retroactively kill you.
Intel had to cancel their IDF conference. They are about to get hit so hard in the server business. They will be a very different looking company in 2 to 4 years.
YAMEROOOOO~~~
what's teh deal with that? IDF was big, they also cut PR in EU and fired some validation staff in thousands?
what is happening?
this is so illogical, is intel planing a merger or something crazy?
Intel has the most incompetent fucking CEO known to man. They KNEW that Zen is competitive and yet they only started hiring engineers for their next arch only TWO FUCKING MONTH AGO.
Intel has the capacity to push out a major speed update in a few months.
They just needed some pressure from the competition.
If socket 1151 is confirmed to get a 6-core CPU, I am off buying a Z270 board.
this guy doesn't seem so bad in comparison, at eeast he tried to save AMD not to crash it
>If socket 1151 is confirmed to get a 6-core CPU
clean those warehouses, be a good g..boy
>socket 1151 is confirmed to get a 6-core CPU
lmao good luck with that
>major speed update
You mean new housefires? Oh fucking hell we're back to K8 times when the only response from Intel was to make new and hotter housefires.
Fucking shit fuck Krzanich.
>b-but muh diversity goyim
INTEL YOU'RE A SEMICONDUCTOR COMPANY NOT A BUNCH OF TUMBLRINAS.
>Intel has the capacity to push out a major speed update in a few months.
The i7-7740K is a fucking joke, so there goes that idea.
B-but 100mhz, goy. Now buy new mobo.
>m-muh secret sauce
all Intel has to do is hit the big "In case of AMD getting uppity" button and they'll be back on top, r-right?
>socket 1151
It's already dead, even the shitty i7-7740K is going to be on a new socket.
Are you dumb or just retarded?
Mainstream platform still runs on LGA 1151 and Coffee Lake will have 6 cores 12 threads on LGA 1151
LGA 2066 that Skylake-X & Kaby Lake-X uses is replacing LGA 2011-3 that Haswell-E and Broadwell-E uses
>what's teh deal with that? IDF was big, they also cut PR in EU and fired some validation staff in thousands?
>what is happening?
>this is so illogical, is intel planing a merger or something crazy?
When they got a near monopoly on server CPUs they pushed up prices as high as $8000 per cpu. All the profits went into paying for atoms to be sold undercost to try and win the mobile market. Then they wasted money trying to make a GPU but failed. Finally they wasted money on optane and idiotic buyouts. What didn't they spend money on during all of this? CPU R&D.
Now they are about to have their 98% server market share attacked from all angles. AMD has naples which will be so much cheaper than intel while having a few special features intel doesn't have. Microsoft, facebook (I think) and some big chinese firm are moving to ARM for a portion of their servers. You have the cavium thunderx2 a qualcomm server chip and China has a domestic ARM server chip. Microsoft also plans to use naples.
Google has been switching to power servers mixed with x86, they will probably adopt naples for some x86 servers as well.
Where does this leave intel? They don't have anything that can BTFO naples to the point no one wants them. They could slash xeon prices by 50% or more but that will hurt their income. They could just ignore everything and keep selling xeons to companies that buy intel out of habit, they will lose significant sales but at least profit margins might be ok in the short term. Long term? If they don't have anything really big they're fucked, they won't die but they will never have the influence they had the last 10 years again.
...
>I hope the 6 core CPUs will be still use the 1151 socket
HAAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHH
