I have one of these. Should I sell it and get a 1080Ti?

Yes, sell it but get RX 580 instead. Maybe even two.
But isn't SLIing/crossfiring loosing support?
That's irrelevant. Your're getting your money back in a couple of months due to mining anyway.
Live on campus at a uni, mining is out of the question.
There's no point in anything less than 3 way, 4 is the minimum for a system that would be considered "decent"
>Your're getting your money back in a couple of months due to mining anyway.
even electricity bill will be higher than what you gain
Agreed but you can get 2/390x for
Don't.
1080 Ti is too slow for 4K 60fps locked.
It's a 1440p card on steroids, but the same can be said for the 1070 and 1080.
Maybe if you run 1440p 144Hz go for it.
Wait for the 2080 Ti
My EVGA 1080 FTW does pretty well for 144hz 1440p gaming. When I dip under my GSync picks up the slack fairly well, too. I'd just wait for a more economical choice and OC your card harder until then.
That will take 7+ years
You're just gonna get cucked again when Volta comes out.
I have a 4k screen and teh current card does just fine in most games.
>>sell it but get RX 580 instead
>agree with a shitposter
No it is fine for now
let it live out it's life span
then keep it so you have old game support with your hardware
4k gaming is doable on a 1080ti. Just depends on the game and the user standards.
I just slapped a custom cooler on mine and overclocked it.
It gets 60fps lock at 4k on most games, but some run in the mid to high 50's range.
do you feel like you need to?
dont be retarded people like you are reason why each year nvidia raises its prices
retards buying top enthusiast gpus
Do people actually do this?
Is this how Nvidia makes so much money?
Maybe if you're the kind of retard who turns everything up to max settings even if going from utra to high in most games these days makes literally no difference, then yeah, sure.
proud owner of the 1070 version of that, I'd never change it.
It's perfect for my needs, i don't know about ya..
>loose
does this word mean what i think it means?
>literally no reason to upgrade
But its you money so idgaf
What the hell is the point of 4k when shit like anti-aliasing and resolution scales exist? How small do pixels need to be before we're happy?
as small as your dick
HAR HAR HAR HAR
Yeah nigga. I'm doing it. Sold my card for $450 on Craigslist since it was going for like $500 new on Amazon and other sites. Make sure you ignore the faggots who try to lowball you in order to maximize your profits.
The 1080 Ti is such a beast. Can't wait for it to be available on Amazon.
>gaims
>muh video card
looser
