So killx is only for installing into an existing Linux system, right? Meaning, one can't install it into a VirtualBox VM, right?

I feel like it could be installed in a VM:

>follow installation instructions from killx docs
>instead of updating the bootloader, install one

Hmm, would probably work using a distro that has a live-cd-type iso. To install a bootloader, would I have to download one separately, or would a live-cd-type iso have a command to grab one from the net?
