let me post the story in the most organized way I can think of.
I bought a redmi4 prime for my father.(locally.) it came with a charger that had no branding on it, no adapter, and a black cable(the head is white)
i charged the redmi4 prime with it, then after a few times I charged it(like 3 times, the battery lasted me for 3-4 days so it was like almost 2 weeks) I noticed the usb port of the redmi stopped reacting, the volume down button and power button didn't work.
I sent it to repair. they fixed it, everything on the phone was erased so I presume they just changed the whole mobo.
I bought a samsung charger so the phone could be charged normally. I did connect it to the same outlet the last charger(no brand) was connected to.
the repair took 1 week and a half, and I did use the outlet with my other old charger(which is also samsung)
anyway. charged the redmi. left the charger in the outlet. charged my one+ with it, suddenly it stopped charging, I realized something is wrong and used the old charger I have, (the old samsung charger.) screen flashed like mad, then stabilized, then was stuck on 24% for a good 10 minutes.
now it's charging.
I was wondering what's the possibility of the redmi4 prime being a charger destroyer.
p.s. when I connected the redmi to the new samsung charger, the charger got VERY VERY HOT.
so I, for the second time, forgot to register while ordering stuff on banggood so I have no way to know if my order has been confirmed, send or not. Great.
