tfw actually upgrading later this week

I like how your Windows 7 looks like 95. Good taste.

What are you upgrading to?

Nothing wrong with that. He can run in very high frame rates and max settings.

This can''t be real, why would you use a non NT windows as your main machine?

It's probably not his main, just an optional shitposting machine.

144hz though

Switched from Linux to Windows. Damn my life just got a lot more comfy.

Yes, it's true, giving up can be comfy, too.

What were you doing that was so CPU intensive?

Also 94c, what the fuck?

Surprisingly, I wasn't doing anything other than having loaded up Speccy prior to taking the screenshot
That's pretty much idle, but somehow, when it's under any load, it goes down to a slightly less shitty 80C or so

...

Maybe the bug is when it's reporting a lower temperature when it's under load.

I know >prebuilts but I am a fucking normalfag

laptop fag here, how much would it cost to build with those specs?

just stopped playing Battlefield !

probably 300-400 bucks cheaper but I am a tard and I just want my shit to plug and play

I fucked up

not judging, just curious

>wallpaper

you know spotify has a webplayer that uses less resources right?

Generally speaking you can usually expect a custom system to cost 10-20% less than a prebuilt if you are looking at comparable parts - depending on the original specs.

The thing about prebuilts it that they tend to use extremely cheap parts when it comes to the power supply, case, motherboard, ram, and cpu cooler.

Anyone considering a prebuilt is usually better off spending an equal amount getting a better computer, rather than trying to get an equal computer for less cost.

i should use that desu i rarely listen to spotify since my premium ran out

play.spotify.com/browse. I take a 1 credit cpr training class at community college every two years and I have been getting eternal $5 spotify from that

This is my
gaming PC
that I bought three years ago. Holding up surprisingly well, but that's probably just because I steer clear of triple-A normie titles. I'm pretty out of the loop regarding PC specs and what's considered high-end these days, so I've no idea what to replace first.

Bought the motherboard new last year at a large discount. The CPU was used, but got a 3 year warranty on both.

wassup

Pretty much identical specs to a PC I have laying around somewhere.

Here goes nothing

Why not? Even for 60 Hz you currently need a 1070 if you want all settings.

This hurts my eyes... Just got a H61 board, i5-3470 and 8 GB RAM for 60 €. Please get at least 4 GB RAM.

Can I get that wallpaper image?

you what

I can max almost everything out @1080p on my GTX 1050ti. I bet a 1060 would blow through it.

These are my specs. I'm sure I'm being bottlenecked by my CPU but it's apparently the best cpu available for my motherboard. So if I want to get a better one I'll have to replace my motherboard, right? And if I replace my motherboard there's a chance my ram and graphics card also won't be compatible? And if I just start replacing parts the wattage will change and then I'll have to look into buying a whole new power box.

I'm not very good at computers...I got a friend to help me last time but he passed away last year...

...

Eh

I know that and I plan getting a Xeon 5450 and of course 2 more GBs of RAM.

...

Looks good except I would add more storage.

>I would add more storage.
This is just my gaymen machine. It only needs to hold whatever game(s) I currently play.
I have a standalone cabinet with 5 HDDs for a total of like 25 TB which I can plug in to any of my computers.

3570k isn't the bottleneck of your system
also, you can still step up to an i7 3770k if you absolutely need to
