It's quite annoying when you're trying to set up something on CentOS and all of the guides online tell you to turn SELinux off, because they are too lazy/stupid to configure it properly.

I'm not running bloody TF2 on my home server.
Anyway, for desktop use, I imaging SELinux would be more trouble than its worth.

I always leave it enabled. If you have an issue literally just look at the logs and it will tell you how to fix it.
