Post your different Linux-Distros

Laptop: Windows 10 with the Windows Subsystem for Linux
Phone: Android.

I think my cable modem is a Cisco DPC3941T. Does anyone know if this is running Linux®?

I use GalliumOS on my Chromebook, I don't really like it but is it worth the effort to switch to lubuntu? It seems to work fine but I want the lightest-weight shit possible

Server: DragonflyBSD
Desktop: Windows 10
Laptop: MBPr

Three distros on one machine..

1. Slackware
2. Bedrock, from a Slackware hijack
3. Gentoo.

And LFS in a VM.

Main box: Windows 10 and Arch
Home server: Debian
Netbook: Windows 10
Laptop: Debian
2 vps's with Debian

Desktop: W8.1 / KDE Neon
Laptop: W10 / KDE Neon
I would run the same windows version too if 8.1 drivers were available for my laptop or I wasn't so relunctant to use W10 on my machine. Also, too lazy for a clean install
KDE Neon is comfy tho

kali linux for work
slackware for home

Desktop: Gentoo
ThinkPad X220: Gentoo
MacBook Air 11": Gentoo
Sony Z Ultra: Gentoo

...

Desktop (secondary server): Gentoo
Craptop: Gentoo
Pi (primary server since muh power bill): Raspbian

I'd also run Gentoo on the Pi, but I'm kinda lazy and the chinks shipped the drivers for my chink GPIO screen in a whole distro.

dmitry is that you?

Yeah it's me.

For fuck sake who you are?

*are you

Any tips on xubuntu to a person who just had his first experience with it ?

>win10 user who's using xubuntu on vm and planning on migrating in the future

Go back to 2ch

A guy who noticed that dmitry is the kinda guy that would install gentoo on his fridge

Laptop: arch
Home server: debian

Thinking of switching from arch to freebsd.

None. It's pretty decent out of the box. One thing to remember - do not install anything from a vendor's site, always consult ubuntu wiki.

The most scariest thing is that my name is actually dmitry.

cheers

>Nix
Tell me about NIX why does he wear a mask?
Is it gaining traction like probably void?
What is the difference between standard bastardized systemed OS and for example slack?

when good privacy needed or to do recovery on any UEFI PC

Desktop: Devuan GNU/Linux
Laptop: Devuan GNU/Linux
Server: Armbian GNU/Linux
Tablet: Cyanogenmod

I'm opposite of this guy

I use Debian stretch with LXDE on my Libreboot ThinkPad T400. I grew out of video gaymen so my desktop is now a server that runs a virtual machine and my website. My ThinkPad X200 uses the stock BIOS with the Intel ME disabled and it runs Haiku OS (not actually GNU/Linux but I use that for shitposting). I also have a 2006 Intel MacBook that has Libreboot installed but no OS and it's collecting dust.

Tablet: FireOS / Android
PC: Debian 9 with XFCE & Windows 10 (only for gaming)

Everything is running Linux

Laptop: Gentoo
Desktop: Manjaro
Shitty Old Laptop:Ubuntu Server
Smartphon:Stock Android
Steam Link:Steam Link proprietary firmware

The only benefit of NixOS over Void is the superb package manager, it's literally unrivalled. Though I am a big fan of Void.

The thing that sold Nix to me was when I discovered I was able to use the package manager on my Mac, my Fedora desktop and my FreeBSD laptop, so all of my systems were running the same software.

Desktop:
linux/gnu: i3-wm.
Laptop:

>muh video games are exclusively for children meme
Daily reminder that the vast majority of gamers are adults older than 25.

Gallium is optimized for Chromebook hardware. You can definitely run another distro, but chances are it won't work as well.

wp please?
